MUNA is a ‘new spring’ with home style Indian taste. It is a sister location by SATHI group. It is a ‘desire’ to serve mother-made recipes to Indian food lovers. As SATHI is getting so much love from our customers, MUNA is another step to serve midtown with simple dine in experience, private party hall and traditional and authentic food. We also offer patronage to Nepalese and Himalayan food lovers with Himalayan recipes.

MUNA is offering Dine In, bar( upcoming), private events (up-to 75 people), takeout and delivery services. We welcome all our Indian/ Himalayan food lovers to join us in this new journey as MUNA.

The food was really impressive, some of the best Indian I’ve had in New York to be sure. It would rival some of the better meals I’ve had throughout the UK. Chicken was perfect, gravy was thick lots of ingredients. It looked and tasted complex. I ordered Madras hot (8 out of 10 spice level) and it was definitely there! Just on the verge of being too hot for me, but perfect. I was really impressed with their mains. The garlic naan was thin, crispy, not doughy-kind of New York pizza influenced ;) it wasn’t slathering butter, which I appreciated.

Terrible food/ worst Indian food. Every main dish was simply put in the same dreadful sauce. All food served cold.

We had a beautiful dinner. The service was very helpful, friendly and made us feel “at home”. Thanks for a nice experience. We will recommend you and definitely come back whenever in NY again

The service was excellent and most of the food we ordered had good flavor. Our party ordered lamb vindaloo, tikki masala, butter chicken, and vegetable korma. Also garlic naan. The lamb was tender but none of us was a fan of the dish which the server recommended. The butter chicken and Tikki masala were very similar. I liked the tikki masala sauce better but the chicken in the butter chicken was much more tender than the tikki masala chicken which was on the dry side - even smothered in the sauce. The vegetable korma which the server also recommended was okay but we wouldn’t order it again. When I tasted all of the dishes, the masala sauce far exceeded the others with the butter sauce in second place. The serving sizes are enough to share and even bring home. The garlic naan was thin, light, and crispy with a hint of garlic. It didn’t taste soft and doughy like I prefer. We went for my son’s birthday and he liked my tikki masala much more so I swapped with him and took his vegetable korma. Just know that the air conditioner is on full force and felt like the temperature was 50 degrees. Some of my party had to go outside several times to thaw off. Overall we enjoyed ourselves. We would go back knowing what not to order and open try other items on the menu, making sure to bring jackets.

Everything was good! From the moment you walk in, so friendly! Food was good and very convenient to where I work. Great staff who work very hard to make sure you have plenty of water and that your meal is going well. They were concerned about the spice level for my dinner companion and they gave her a mango lassi so her stomach wouldn't bother he later...SO NICE!!! Will definitely be coming back!

We had a terrific time at MuNa. The ambience upstairs was cozy, well lit, spacious and our hostess was super kind. Attention to detail in particular was solid. We got a bit over ambitious with our order and requested what turned out to be an extremely spicy (chilli hot) dish. Madhav, the owner and host immediately came to our table and suggested that he swap out for a more moderate spice level. He custom curated the Aloo-Gobi-Muttar dish. I noticed he went to every table to inquired about the food and provided suggestions to the guests. I highly recommend MuNa.

Very good resturant. I would definatly recommend this resturant because of quality, taste, cleanliness and good portion of the quantity they serve. Very reasonable price as well.
