We are Mt. Fuji. First sushi bar in Little Rock. Mt. Fuji offers Japanese homestyle cooking and comfort food, as well as high quality, premium nigiri and sashimi. Top menu items that are highlighted amongst the staff and guests include: Hamachi Crudo, Tonkotsu Ramen, A5 Japanese Wagyu, Fresh Wasabi Root, Specialty Fish flown in from Japan, and extensive Sake offerings to pair with your meal! We are a family owned restaurant who're trying to carry on tradition passed on to us and are actively staying up to date with the current food scene in Japan!     Sushi was fair at best, but not for the price. My son and I each had the special that we picked 2 sushi rolls and a side. My son and I both were not impressed with the rolls. The side was a house salad and miso soup, which was good. My wife had the tendon entre which was good. I'll go back 1 more time, but not for sushi.

    As always the food, service and ambiance were amazing but last night they had special fish like New Zealand salmon, Uni and A5 wagu beef. We absolutely love this restaurant. It is truly the best sushi in Arkansas

    Food was good but we had a strange situation where server brought an item that we didn’t order but since it was already plated with the other part of the order, they left it. Then she came back and indicated that the manager wanted it removed from the plate. It was very awkward. She said it would be deleted from the bill, but when we got the bill, the unordered item was still listed. We had to ask for it to be removed from the bill. The whole thing left us feeling negative about the experience.

    We went here for Valentine’s Day. Spicy Edamame very good, but very spicy! Large appetizers, and Sushi size was huge - definitely getting your moneys worth with how large they are. Nice atmosphere. The only thing I would say is that it was really cold outside and very chilly inside. We felt like the AC was blowing on us the entire time.

    First time dining here and we had a great experience. It was Valentine’s Day and it was managed very well. A great experience with good food and friends. We will come back.

    Service was extremely slow, we ordered an appetizer and drinks first and waited 30 minutes for them to arrive, they also served my drink about 10 minutes before my partners. Appetizer portion was incredibly small, we got the soft shell crab, for the price it was not worth the one bite of food. We waited another 20 minutes for our 2 rolls of sushi to arrive after we saw it sit on the sushi bar for 10 of those. After finishing the first rolls we wanted to order more, our waitresses didn’t check on us after walking past our table multiple times looking at our empty plates and instead of asking how we’re doing she said “did you eat enough? are you done?” We were still very hungry so we ordered 2 more rolls and 2 more drinks, I just ordered wine so it wouldn’t take as long, still took 15 minutes and when it was brought out my partner asked about hit drink and our waitress said “oh I didn’t order you one, thought you were good with that” talking about the drink he finished probably 45 minutes ago. We sat and talked for another 30 minutes before the food arrived and just asked for the check even though we wanted more food but the lack of care and the wait times were ridiculous. For reference, all tables were not full, there was no wait line, there were multiple large party’s that were just getting drinks and had already gotten food. I understand feeling overwhelmed if they were extremely busy but our waitresses excuse each time we ask about our items she would say “oh sorry we’re just preparing for tomorrow” (Valentine’s day) but i don’t understand how that impacts your service today? Overall was a waste of 2 hours.

    Food is always on point, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful when asking questions. My only advice is it’s chilly this time of year. I always need a jacket when dining here.

    As per usual, Mt. Fuji Japanese Restaurant, is always fresh, tasty food. As busy as the place was, I was definitely glad we had a reservation through Open Table! We were whisked promptly to our table, and drinks were swiftly ordered and received. The spicy edamame were superb! Highly recommend the crunch crab rolls, and the soft shell fried crab, too. Our guest was not fond of seaweed wrap, and they were able to order the rice-paper wraps for their sushi rolls. I tried one, and my goodness, the rice-paper rolls are delicious!! This restaurant is high on our list of places to eat! Highly recommend.
