The six bedroom home was once the home of William Wrigley Jr. and his wife Ada. Sitting nearly 400 feet above the Pacific Ocean, Mt. Ada offers commanding views of Catalina Island and Avalon.

Fantastic experience. First off the views and ambience on the dining patio were fabulous! The waiter Chris was one of the best. He was attentive and friendly. Our meal was scrumptious. Swordfish cooked perfectly with beautiful presentation. We would definitely go back. Note: We took a taxi up, and walked back to enjoy the views along the way.

Such a lovely spot, sitting on the patio overlooking Avalon. Truly enjoyable. Nice food and plenty of wine which is included in the price. Chris, our waiter, was superb.

The view alone is worth a million! The service was outstanding, minus the driver from Mt. Ada who refused to take us up from the ferry terminal, but served us a drink once we arrived. The noise was loud due to a large crowd, and the service slow but, the wait staff apologized numerous times for the inconvenience. The menu needs updated for sure, and the steak was much better than the swordfish. It was a wonderful place for a date. Make your reservations early & take a taxi up- Cash Only.

I have been visiting Catalina for many years and this was my first time to Mt. Ada. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for the best service and views on the island to spend the afternoon there. Its a little bit of magic in today's world.

View could not be more spectacular, and the mansion is lovely. The waitstaff were attentive and friendly, but food was okay at best. The draw here is the ambience and view, not the food. Small details, like paper napkins, seem out of place in this atmosphere.

You can't beat the food or quality of service.! The view from the house overlooking Avalon Harbor provides for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. We cannot go to Catalina without staying or eating at Mt. Ada. It is a very special place. We highly recommend it. Bob Wilson

Our favorite day in Catalina was having lunch at Mt. Ada, overlooking the bay with a wonderful view of the Casino near Descanso Beach. So much history with the Wrigley family. Shawn, our server at lunch, paid close attention to our needs with awesome service. The food was superb offered as a prefix menu of 3 courses, including you choice of wine, beer or champagne. We enjoyed the Dungeness Crab Cakes as an appetizer, and I had baked Pacific Swordfish and my husband had he grilled Brazino (Seabass) Fish cooked perfectly as entrees. The lemon pie was the best I've had, but, would pass on the undercooked rice in the Poor Man's Tapioca. Will come back for sure.....delightful.

Our waiter, Chris, was outstanding!!! We've visited Mt. Ada several times, and the entire experience is always great, but the service and attention we received from Chris made our recent visit extra special!!
