A truly unique dining and cocktail experience nestled below the main level of the historic Pershing Square Building, in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Mrs. Fish is a subterranean Japanese restaurant lounge providing the perfect gathering place for after-work libations, pre-theater bites or full dining experiences.

*Walk-ins after 10:45pm must be 21+ with ID
*Valet Parking is offered Tuesday – Saturday for $13.00 Cash, $14 Credit Card.
*Our Dress Code is Upscale Casual preferred. Presentable shirts, jeans, or shorts are acceptable.
*We advise guests to arrive at the time of reservation to Check-in for table. We have a 15 minute grace period if guests are running late.

Very good steamed clams! Very good rice! My two favorite items. The food was fresh and excellent. The waiters were a little unknowledgeable when asked about ingredients that was the only thing they needed to fix. Otherwise the place was laid back and kind of classy all in one modern setting.

Mrs. Fish had a fun vibe and had all the potential to be a great date night spot except the food wasn’t very good. There are so many better sushi options in LA; the only reason to go to Mrs Fish is the atmosphere.

I love the atmosphere at Mrs. Fish. That’s definitely what you’re paying for. The sushi didn’t “wow” me but it’s a fun date night/special occasion place to go to for a good time.

Amazing service and care from all the stuff, they made sure me and my fiancé enjoyed our anniversary, amazing drinks and food. Definitely would recommend for a cool nice dinner or a fun date night

I am a 2nd time return customer to this restaurant having dined here 6 months prior in late December. Having had a superior experience with my friend 6 months prior, we were truly looking forward to our 2nd visit and to potentially making this spot our go-to spot for subsequent special occasions. However, our last experience (yesterday, June 22, 2024) changed our impression of the restaurant. After walking into the restaurant 6 months ago, we were immediately captivated by the ambience with an aquarium, decorations, art, and great mood lighting. We also had the most amazing Server who made us feel welcomed and helped us choose the best options on the 5 course meal. We were impressed most with the Cabbage dish, which we actually mistook for meat as it had perfect texture and was cooked to perfection with a smokey flavor and a crispy texture smothered with a delicious glaze. Fast forward to yesterday, the restaurant’s ambience was the same - beautiful as ever. However, we were immediately put off by one of the Bussers (staff wearing all black) who took our water order. He was unfriendly. We were worried that he would be our Server, and relieved when another staff (Servers wear white) approached us. Our Server this time was friendly and bubbly, but lacked the genuineness and professionalism of our Server 6 months ago. We went ahead and ordered the 5 course menu once again with a couple tweaks with our choices. We could not wait to dive into the shareable Cabbage dish since it was the highlight of our experience the last time. Unfortunately, this time, the Cabbage dish looked immediately different in color, plain, and undercooked. It tasted like undercooked cabbage smeared with butter and miso, completely different from the dish 6 months ago. We were curious if the recipe changed, or if the chef cut corners. Everything else was delicious. Despite that, I am unsure if I’d come back due to the different image I have of the restaurant.
