Mr. Wabi is a blend of sophisticated Asian fusion street food with eclectic cocktails, tap beer and boutique wine to cater for the urban professionals in the heart of Fortitude Valley.

Wabi means to accept the aesthetics and the beauty of imperfection. This connects a deep meaning between street food that’s imperfect in nature and accepting the beauty within as the dishes are upgraded to appeal to a more sophisticated palate.

Cannot fault Mr Wabi, the food was delicious, came out quickly, staff were amazing! We got lost getting there but the manager (sorry can’t remember his name)we spoke to on the phone was so helpful and directed us to where we needed to go, he was great! Highly recommend and will definitely go back when in Brisbane again. 10/10

Always a friendly greeting from the manager and attentive service from the staff. Delicious food and tasty drinks. If you can’t decide, try the Plum set menu. A fun venue with funky wall art and music to match. Great lunch and event menus too.

Amazing owner and staff! The waiting team were so enthusiastic and helpful, bar staff amazing! Big ups to Sab and the team, amazing food and drinks. 10/10 recommend

We were able to get the Pad Thai without prawns, no trouble making that adjustment for us. Wonderful, fresh flavours. The bao buns and shallot pancakes were enjoyed. Had deep fried icecream and Matcha Tiramisu for dessert - delicious! One of our party was having a birthday - I noted this on the online booking, and their dessert came out with a birthday candle! Was a lovely night, would 100% come back

Staff were very attentive, but that's where it ended. We ordered the $88 banquet. The duck and chicken were dry and tasteless. Every sauce, on every meal tasted the same, and the wagyu beef tasted like shaved silverside. Shallot pancake was good, but I added that on. There was a table known to the manager that was passing drugs to each other out in the open with kids nearby, then heading to the toilet every few minutes. Music was loud, so everyone was yelling across a small table. Not the experience I was expecting after reading all the "good" reviews.

Had a great variety of food with a few different cocktails to share. The wide variety of food we chose was all delicious and came out very quickly. Will definitely be coming back here when we return to Brisbane.

Fresh, modern, fun and delicious. We ordered the banquet and dumplings and were not disappointed. Every dish was incredibly well balanced, fresh and delicious. Brilliant cocktails as well! Super friendly staff who were very attentive. Loved the music and atmosphere too! We will be back!

Food was average. Salt and pepper calamari a little greasy and needed more salt and pepper. Portion size was good. Peking duck pancakes were in fact pecking duck spring rolls. Lamb dumplings were tasty but wrapping was hard and big inconsistency in size. Drinks we're good. More attention needed by staff around drinks and clearing table. Overall I won't be rushing back

Great food - service was a little too quick ! Was completely full -including a large party which made conversation somewhat difficult - but I would return and recommend. Food was excellent
