Disappointing meal. Fried green tomatoes were mushy. Ordered snapper grilled. Came out blackened and very overcooked and dry. Asked for replacement with grilled fish. Manager agreed but they did not take away the first plate and only brought the new fish about 10 min later. This fish was not grilled, probably pan seared, which is OK, but also overcooked and dry. Manager insisted on bringing new sides only after new fish was delivered. Very odd service. Then bill had snapper billed twice!!! They removed one and gave us a discount on drinks to compensate. Maybe we just were unlucky since so many locals seemed to be enjoying their meal.

We visit Georgia each year. This is our “go to” restaurant. Rarely do we find a restaurant where everything exceeds our expectations but Mr. Shucks is the exception! Service, food, facilities- A+++!

Wow, we had the Feast and the seafood was prepared perfectly! Some of the best blue crabs I’ve ever had. Delicious seasoning and butter sauce. Crazy amount of food. Friendly staff. We are going to make sure we stop here whenever we are in the area. Don’t be fooled by the shopping center store front. They know how to cook!

We sat at the bar and received immediate service. In a nice touch, we were served complementary garlic shrimp. Dinner was great…fried oysters and garlic shrimp. The wait staff was courteous and attentive.

Service took forever. Server was not attentive to our table at all whatsoever. After we got our table, 3 servers passed by us for a good 15 minutes until we had to ask if we can order, server said, oh nobody helped you yet? Very poor service.

As always, excellent service and exceptional food. Fanta took great care in ensuring a wonderful experience throughout. She remembered me from my prior trip.
