Dear Mr. Chow Team,
I’ve been a longtime fan of Mr. Chow, frequently visiting both your Miami and New York locations several times a year. I’ve always appreciated the consistently excellent food, vibrant atmosphere, and typically warm, attentive service.
However, I wanted to share some feedback about my recent visit, which unfortunately did not meet the high standards I’ve come to expect. While the food remained outstanding, the service fell noticeably short. Throughout the evening, I had to request multiple times for basic things like clearing plates or placing an order. The restaurant didn’t appear especially busy, and much of the staff seemed disengaged—conversing with each other rather than attending to guests.
There also appeared to be a manager on duty who was making rounds, but didn’t seem particularly proactive. When I thanked her and wished her a good night on the way out, I was met with an unexpected scowl, as were other members of my party. The overall feeling of the evening was that our presence was more of an inconvenience than a welcome.
It saddens me to see such an iconic establishment slip in this way. I hope this feedback is helpful and taken in the spirit intended—from someone who deeply values the experience you offer and hopes to see it continue to thrive.
