Ouvert en 2006 par le restaurateur de renommée mondiale Michael Chow, le MR CHOW - TriBeca est le restaurant qui a reçu le dernier 5 Star Diamond Award par l'American Academy of Hospitality Sciences pour son excellence, son service et sa cuisine, c'est la deuxième adresse après la principale de NYC sur la 57th Street. Cette dernière adresse branchée est entourée d'une terrasse et d'un joli bar qui ouvre à 17h00 tous les jours. Le NY Magazine a écrit en 2006 : « Manger au restaurant Mr Chow, c'est comme participer à une fête itinérante, qui a migré à travers 4 décennies, 3 continents et une myriade de raviolis à la vapeur ». Kwok Hor, chef cuisinier du TriBeCa, est un professionnel très respecté dans l'industrie de la cuisine chinoise et a donné de nombreuses conférences à la Hong Kong Culinary Association. Le menu du MR CHOW se compose d'une combinaison de spécialités authentiques de Pékin, de recettes originales, de poulet au satay, de noodles et de Ma Mignon MR CHOW, tous crées par nos chefs passionnés et talentueux. Le menu comporte également l'un des canards de Pékin les mieux préparés au monde.

Mr Chow never fails! I have been going since 1996 and it is still my favorite restaurant in NYC, Food is always excellent and the waitstaff is always on point. I have spent 12-15 birthdays over the years at Mr Chow Tribeca. It is my favorite place to take someone from out of town. I always go to the LA one when I am visiting. The manager at Tribeca always comes to say hello which is a very nice touch. Bravo/Brava to the entire staff and kitchen for always a delicious and enjoyable experience.

This is truly the worst restaurant in NYC, the food is barely edible and the service is awful. I would never recommend to go here

Very nice vibe, not overcrowded. The service was excellent and I was very impressed with how fast the food came out. Very happy we celebrated my best friends 50th birthday here.

I’ve lived in Manhattan for over a decade, and I love enjoying the city’s incredible restaurants. I’d heard about Mr Chow, but for whatever reason, I’d never been—until last night. I’ve never been more disappointed. What has happened to this place? Has to be one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. The food was shockingly bad, the service was even worse, and the noise level was intolerably loud. I couldn’t believe I was actually paying money to be there—and it wasn’t cheap. I’d never seen a group of waiters more miserable—maybe because they know they are on a sinking ship. I will never go back.

Food was good - we substituted the XO sauce on the mignon with plum sauce - that was great!! The satay chicken was very tender

They must be under new management because the food tastes bland and they only had one dipping sauce. Every time I have went to Mr.Chow they had spring roll dipping sauce ( it’s a mixture between duck sauce and sweet Thai chili sauce). This recent time they only had some black sauce that tasted disgusting.

What a deliciously unique menu with fresh ingredients that enhance the flavors of each bite. Such friendly service too. Enjoyed dining outdoors on a beautiful night too!

the food was delicious, the wait staff very friendly although I felt as if they steered us into a price point that was not necessary. Maybe because they seemed very slow ,not sure but I have never in my life paid that much money for Chinese food . 5 people only two cocktails in total were ordered and it was $$$$$ and we were only able to eat 50% of what was served because there was so many dishes with the set price.
