Le Moxies Grill & Bar - University a maintenant ouvert ses portes au 70, avenue University, dans le centre-ville de Toronto ! It was extremely loud!!! Large groups should be seated in private dining areas. I could barely hear my friend all night!! The food was fine but there was an issue about my friends bill and the waiter was rude and told her “ to read the menu before ordering” ???? This is Not how you solve issues!! 000000 costumer service!! He also barely checked on us and brought the bill out before we even asked. Brought out tea without sugar and had to ask another waiter to do so after waiting for ten minutes…. Not the best night and we are both pretty regular at your establishment. As a matter of fact, I planned our Christmas party at Moxie‘s at Yorkdale yesterday and it was wonderful. Very disappointed

It was a great evening and we loved the food. The Flour less Salted Caramel Cheesecake with Blackberries was super. We loved it.

Our server was very friendly and very sensitive to the fact that we were not in a rush. She gave us lots of time to chat before getting our orders. But she was very attentive when we needed something. She was able to get the volume of the music in our seating area reduced so that we could actually hear each other talk. In other areas of the restaurant it was really loud. The food was good, and portions were generous. The flourless chocolate cake and the chicken cashew lettuce wraps were a particular favorite.

Food was disappointing. For $25.50 a Cobb salad with iceberg lettuce - you can do better. Also, the Thai chicken salad had 4 small pieces of chicken. Flavours were okay but not making me want to return.

This is a great spot if you’re looking for louder music, and maybe an after work quick drink. Do not recommend for a date night, or if you’re in a rush.

Ordered the full rack of ribs. When the food arrived it was barely warm. The meat in the ribs was tough and the taste was like eating at a cheap family restaurant. I think these were already cooked frozen and then heated up when the orders are place. The kind you buy in the grocery stores in the freezer section. The server was nice but was run off her feet. Did complain to the server at the end of the meal, lots of the food was left on the plate. The restaurant did not offer any break on the price and not even an offer to pay for our dessert. No manager came over to see what was wrong. Not a great experience. Will look for somewhere else to go when downtown to see an event.

With the website stating midnight closing, we had to rush through the menu at 10:45 pm. I’d take Earls Yorkville well over this site.

Nice place, very loud! Wish they had an automatic door operator device at the entrance. Door is far to heavy plus I had box to carry in.
