At Moxies we love to keep things fresh, that’s why we’re shaking things up at our Shawnessy location with the introduction of our first-ever Test Kitchen.

We’re embarking on an all-new culinary adventure and we want your input as we test all-new plates and re-imagined recipes to go alongside the untouchable favourites that made us famous.

Moxies restaurant is a contemporary casual restaurant offering a globally inspired menu and hand crafted cocktails in a vibrant and interactive atmosphere. Moxies has over 50 locations across Canada and 6 US locations in Dallas, Houston and Miami.

In addition to the new menu, our Test Kitchen offers local craft brews batched exclusively for this location and integrated hospitality technology in to the service. The goal of our Test Kitchen is to test every aspect of our restaurant and ensure we provide each guest with a truly satisfying dining experience.

    If you order the salad, ask for the dressing on the side because they drench the salad in dressing, which is fine on a Caesar salad but not on the green salad.

    Went will the whole family. Of the five entrees we ordered, One was great, one was good and the other three were fair. The appetizers were ok but not great either. Service was meh. We have been there previously and it was much better.

    This was my second visit and it was 100% different that my first time there. During the first visit the food was fabulous, I had the same meal this time and it was not good and had a burnt/bitter taste(rigatoni). Would not recommend or come back based on this experience.

    Food was not great. We had some of our dishes come out cold. The calamari was chewy and stringy and didn’t seem fully cooked. The wings were solid, but a lot of the dishes lacked flavour.

    The meal and service tonight was really great. The Mahi Mahi and Mango Chutney Chicken were done to perfection. Melissia has an amazing personality and helped make the dinner even better with her smile and sense of humor. Thank you! 🤓

    My friend had the mushroom steak and loved it. I had the tofu lettuce wraps and I would pass on this dish - too many deep fried wontons.

    Service was excellent as usual. Disappointed that the kitchen ran out of the Thai Chicken Salad. My friend had the short rib beef dip. She was surprised that it wasn't on a baguette or pretzel roll. The Arancini was delicious as was the key lime pie.

    Always have a great experience at the Shawnesey Moxies. The staff is amazing and the kitchen know how to create a great meal. Only thing I’m sad about is they have removed the cheesecake from the desert menu. It is hands down the best option. Not too sweet for those of us that have to watch our sugar intake. Please bring it back and take off the key lime. Otherwise. Go and enjoy a great time at Moxies in Shawnesey.
