Moxies is one of the best restaurants in Uptown Houston, located near Galleria Houston. Moxie's is one our favorite places to go to for brunch. Service by far is a standout. Our server this past weekend was Kylie G. She was welcoming, extremely pleasant and offered direct eye contact with a smile every single time she came by our table to check on us. The drinks are excellent and presented beautifully. One of our favorites is the Rose Sangria garnished with an orchid. Also good Espresso Martini and Bloody Mary. An appetizer that never fails to please is the Calamari, with tempura shrimp and shishito peppers. Moxie's is perfect for small gatherings and even large.

The food was delicious - our experience felt mediocre because the service lagged. It was a busy night but we hardly saw our waitress towards the end of the night and leaving became a waiting game for her to give us what we needed. The ambiance is great - cozy and modern but the music is so loud you can hardly talk inside and that contributed to my order being wrong. All in all it was a 8/10.

I initially avoided this place based on older reviews I had seen online, regarding aggressive rude police moonlighting as security, as well as subjective exclusion practices. I’m happy that I saw none of that. I had been in earlier in the week with coworkers so I brought my girlfriend back. The everything was great, I did not care for gratuity being automatically added to my bill. I would expect that practice at lower class establishments with no class clientele. My gf and I agreed to add Moxies to our list of places to spend time at together.

Had an amazing Sunday outing with the girls! The outdoor seating was absolutely perfect for catching up and relaxing. It’s spacious and comfortable, providing a great spot to sip our drinks and enjoy the atmosphere. The waitress was exceptionally pleasant, adding to the laid-back vibe with her attentive and friendly service.
