Food was absolutely incredible. We had a 7:15 reservation and weren’t seated til past 8. No real apology. Also adding automatic tip for 4 party dinner and not flagging feels a little out of the ordinary.

We were not seated until 45 minutes after our reservation time, with no explanation as to why. This unfortunately set a very fair tone for what was to come. Was shown to the bar to wait, where while busy, not untypical for a Saturday night dinner service. This is where we stood nearly 20 minutes before the bartender acknowledged our presence (serving the group next to us, also standing, three times in that period). In fairness to the bartender, he was clearly new/inexperienced, justifying the slow service, but was the only one staffed with occasional help from the VERY busy bartender on the service bar. Once seated, we could barely understand our sweet but very soft-spoken server, despite being on the edge of the very noisy dining room; the table we earned after our unacceptable delay in reservation seating being right next to the door and host stand. Finally, the food was good, but certainly not to the quality and creativity I remember from past experiences at Movida. Thank God for Priorat, to save the evening with great wine. After paying our tab and mandatory 18% service charge, I was not heartbroken about leaving to the cold January night, unfortunately to never return.

Took my boyfriend for his birthday. He has his own restaurant and is very particular so I was nervous about choosing a place we had never been. He thought it was spectacular and so did I. Our only disappointment was there were tooooooo many wonderful choices to try them all. I guess we will have to come back again soon!

Booked a reservation for a high top and when I got there they said they didn’t have any available but I could wait for one if I wanted to. I said no thanks I don’t want to wait when I have a reservation. They sat us at a regular table and we were happy. I love the $25 brunch idea, drinks were delicious, food was great, service was a little spotty. They weren’t very busy but things were moving slowly. Our server was the only one who would clear our table. Anyone who delivered any food to our table would just walk away right after serving the plates. That was kind of bizarre. They also charged a 18% service charge on a two top? I didn’t see anything on the menu nor did the server mention she added that. Overall, the birria grilled cheese was good enough to go back!

The food was excellent! Everything came out in a timely matter and was cooked to perfection. There were a few times where we were searching for our server, but the food runner and bus were on top of it. We did the unlimited tops and will definitely be back

Our sever was very friendly & accommodating, But unfortunately the food was an absolute mess. There were dishes burnt & the food was frozen not fresh. We haven’t been here in 2 years unfortunately their food has gone downhill super bad.

They had a very fun New Year’s endless tapas dinner, which was tasty, a very fair price, and fun because you could try everything. The service was great and very accommodating.

It was a not so great start to New Years Eve when we arrived for our reservations and had to wait in a long line out the door to be checked in. The group in front of us indicated that they had been waiting 20 minutes and it was now past their reservation time. When we did get to the host station, we were told that they didn't know how long our wait at the bar would be because people were lingering at their tables longer than usual and they couldn't ask them to leave. They had a decent system of having people waiting in the bar area and the bartenders were great - we only waited there about 15 minutes past our reservation time. Once we were seated, our waitress was perfect. She checked on us often without being overbearing. We ordered unlimited tapas and timing was slow for the first couple, but then they came out at a better, more consistent, pace. Tapas were fine - better than what I expected for a busy New Year Eve night, but I have had the unlimited tapas there on a regular night and thought they were better then. All in all, it was a nice evening with decent food. Staff were hustling and pleasant.
