Best Chinese food in North America! Even in Beijing, Mott 32 would be among the top offerings. Fresh Canadian ingredients in sophisticated Chinese dishes is a “can’t miss”combination.

Mediocre spot for an acclaimed Chinese Restaurant. The food and service was below average and unfortunately did not meet my expectations. We had some standout dishes, but overall most dishes had lack or flavor, texture and seasoning. My favorite dish of the night was the Noodles, Duck Salad & Sautéed Green Beans. When you order the carb, pecking duck, short-ribs.. that says a lot. Poor quality meats and seafood selection that I would skip on if you come here. Service was below average. Our server Peony was more concerned about trying to overhear our conversations than trying to make us have a good one. Our whole table was uncomfortable majority of the time. If you’re thinking of coming here, I would pass. There is many great spots in Toronto, and unfortunately this one is below average.

The food was delicious. The restaurant itself was gorgeous. But it was the service that stood out. It was just outstanding. Our server was so attentive. Great knowledge of the menu. Able to guide us through and make wonderful suggestions with great variety. Our water glasses were always full and the manager came over to greet us mid-meal and at the end. Overall is was a wonderful experience and a really enjoyable night. Thank you for the attention to detail!

Lunch was fabulous. Dim sum was very delicious. The tea was the part they have to work on. For $20, a little tea bag makes very weak tea. Hope to be back soon and I am telling my friends their dim sum was fantastic.

This is our third visit to this restaurant, spend between $500 to $850 in these visits. The room was dark so it's hard to see the food. The service was good but not great, for their price range, when compared to Milos, Cafe Boulud. Nobu etc. I expected more than good service. As our previous visits, the server ask if we'll like sparkling or flat water, they use to charge a flat rate/person for the in-house carbonated water, but last night, the use the bottled San Pellegrino for $8.00 a pop. My concern was the server just keep on filling our glasses without asking us do we need to order extra bottle! I think as any paid items, the server needs to always ask for confirmation before opening new bottles. You don't continue opening bottle of wine without asking the customers first! The 'Wok Gai Lan' for $48 was so overpriced! It was super oily and not much Gai Lan. The Apple wood duck was good, but the pan cakes came with the duck was not up to the standard. Some of them was dried around the edge and just warm. Because of the low lid surroundings, it's have to tell if there's one or two layers of pan cakes that I pick up. Overall, it's a disappointment when they are charging in this price range and with just half full on a Sunday dinner hours, improvement are needed quickly.
