hearty portions full of flavour , gluten free sausages were lovely but would have been nice to have had a pie option

Food was outstanding as was the service. Will be coming back soon to try the other things on the menu.

The restaurant is very basic and small but this is not a problem I visit for the food which is just to die for lovley pies creamy mash good sausages all at a reasonable price for central London one thing I would like the restaurant to do is serve coffèe they have tea but not coffee all in all value for money home cooked food give it a try if you are in london

Rude service by one of the waitresses, who couldn’t even try to pronounce my name correctly despite me saying it multiple times. Disorganised queue despite booking and a very long wait for the food. Was told I had the same mash as my boyfriend (we both ordered bubble and squeak) but had something completely different - mine tasted purely of vinegar. Very mediocre food and had much better and more traditional pie and mash experiences elsewhere. Gave 2 stars as the beer was nice and that’s the only positive I can give.

Veggie pies are great, shame that sausages have only 1 option available and it’s not that great. Dry and a bit tasteless. Savoy cabbage side is white cabbage and portion is tiny. Soft drinks served warm and no ice available. Tourist spot for sure, so don’t forget about a local finesse of service.

Young lady serving was very good. The food was nice enough for the money. However there was hip hop type music blaring out. Pie and mash is a London tradition and we were hoping the ambience would be more of a London of old experience rather than a teenagers party.
