    We are a Landry's President's VIP member. The service was mediocre. Had to ask for bread, Salt and pepper. Didn't find ourselves treated as a loyal customer of Landrys. Nobody from management came over..as usual. Won't be back to the SF location again. When a person supports a Company to the level we do and are dismissed as a walkin...won't be back. Will discuss this with Corporate.

    It was a busy day bec of the convention. My steak was served cold & raw. I did not complain since I know they were busy. I’ve been eating here 2-3times a month & this is the first time it happened.

    Dinner with my son. He's 18, and his comment was.. Wow this Asparagus is not nearly as good as what you make at home. "Dad seriously what do you think of the Asparagus... Yours is much better" he is correct. While not bad, it was just not excellent. He had the 8 oz filet. I had the 16 oz Rib Eye. The steaks were very good. Almost excellent... The starter was the Ahi Poke with Avocado... The Ahi was nice a d the Avocado and seasoning on the Ahi was nice. Its really a little sad. When a $225 meal at a nice steak house is just decent, not excellent. I want to go back to the days when a great meal at Mortons was easily what you could expect. Right now it's just not bad.....its good, but not excellent like it should be. For this price the level of the meal is not a match, they née to fix this issue.

     Horrible service experience! Everything was off from the start when they sat us at a table with no menus no water no bread for a long time until my husband flagged down a water guy to get us some water, menus and bread. It was another 10 minutes before our server came and greeted us with apologies. He admitted that he had forgotten to put our sides in to the order. This is where I want that We made our selections of steaks and seafood as well as a lot of side dishes for the table. Food came about 25 minutes later, but it was only the meat and seafood. we sat there for a few minutes, waiting for the side dishes to arrive, but they never did so we started eating our mains. Finally, we asked another server what was going on with our mains and after another 10 or 15 minutes the manager told us he knew what was wrong but he didn’t tell us and they were going to get us our sides. Most were already done with their entrées by that time, but I had determined that my shrimp was ice cold even before I started eating it apparently, so I sent it my meal back finally, side started appearing, but they were not the ones that we had ordered so we informed them of what we were waiting for. Our server eventually told us that he simply made a mistake and never ordered our sides for us. We never did get the brussels sprouts until we asked at the end to take them to go. The restaurant manager came again and said he was going to make us so happy because he was going to take so many things off our bill. Unfortunately, the bill came, and that was not the case he had taken. Unfortunately, that was not the case, and we still had a very sizable bill to pay. We paid for all entrées except for the mine. It appears he comped dies and possibly the dessert.  given the magnitude of errors, the entire bill should’ve been comped.

    This was my first to dine at a Morton's. I won't be back. The food was OK but nothing special -- also very salty and definitely overpriced. The "background" music was far too aloud -- possibly to give the illusion the place was lively -- which it wasn't. Service was good if a little supercilious. Every other night that I was in San Francisco, I ate at local restaurants and was not disappointed. Again, glad I had a chance to try a Morton's but now I know it is not a place I want to return to.

    It was my second visit to Morton’s Steakhouse, my first visit was last year in downtown San Jose. I enjoyed everything, especially the rich menu with a wide variety of meat and seafood options, a reasonably priced wine list, comfortable seating at a niche table, and exceptional waiter service. One aspect that could be improved is the greeting. The host informed us that reservation doesn't guarantee a specific table, which is fine, and we free to choose any table we liked. The next moment, I found myself searching and hunting for a table in the large dining room filled with people enjoying their meals. I left my spouse at the bar and asked her to wait until I found a table. I would have appreciated some assistance from the staff at that point.
