Once again the advertised special and loyalty club points were a HUGE problem. This place knows how to ruin a delightful, delicious evening into a contentious event . Hate this. Happens to me all the time and then I vow not to cone back for 6 months. And I wait and finally try them again and its groundhog day. So I am the fool. Mortons wants to be all high-end but they are not!!! In Reston Town Center alone I would recommend Ruth Chris or Fogo dr Chao or Capital Burger versus Mortons.

Went in based on the email invitation to try the lobster doecial 1 day early because I am. Valued Landry Loyalty Club member. Bahaha So no one in the place is aware of this offer. Apparently corporate failed to communicate to the locations. So Reston doesn’t have the promised lobster special available. Manager, Miranda, makes good with the lobster tail for us instead. Okay. Not the same but great effort. Thank you. Why is it ALWAYS a problem for the promoted special at Mortons?!?!?

No matter which location you dine at, Morton's never disappoints - an outstanding. meal. The warm onion bread was soft/warm and delicious. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was amazing. Everyone loved the superb French Onion Soup. The filet mignon/wagyu filet and ribeye were tender, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The potatoes au gratin/baked potato were excellent sides. The creme brulee, blueberry cheesecake and chocolate lava cake were sinfully delicious. Our server Sorhab provided excellent service. We would definitely dine here and/or at any other Morton’s location around the country.

I’ve had many special occasions here and it has always been at least good. Yesterday it was not. The steak was terrible, tough, gristly and most of the sides were average at best. When I complained, the response was very poor.

Food -filet minion, dry aged steak and salmon perfectly cooked and delicious. Zora, our waitress, was friendly and attentive. I loved the jazz music vibe with all the singable classics-Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble. Celebrating my twin sister and my birthday plus my parents anniversary. The table was decorated nicely with birthday confetti and red paper petals. The hostess took our picture as a family and gave us two copies in a Morton’s frame. They also gave us a copy of our personalized menu tied up in a ribbon. Then Zora added two free shareable desserts in honor of the occasion. The Molten Lava cake was, “to die for.” Will definitely return!
