Le Morton's The Steakhouse - Portland fait partie du groupe national de steakhouses de premier plan. Never again will I go there. Way overpriced and server tried to tell us that Filet Mignon was tasteless. He should be fired for his expressing to us that we needed Wagyu if we wanted any taste. He clearly wanted us to run up a big tab so he would get a big tip. Never again will I spend $300 for 2 people for that kind of service.

All of the food was incredible. The steaks were perfect, the cocktails were great, the sides and appetizers were wonderful. The word of the night is decadent. While there wasn't anything I'd describe as revolutionary or risky, instead I would describe it as rich and luxurious. No one is taking a risk when they make whipped mashed potatoes with king crab meat; they in fact know they've made something amazing. The food is greatly enhanced by the atmosphere. White table cloth, professional service and a dark, rich interior decoration make you feel like you're really having a high end experience. My only complaint is that there is a dress code, but it is seemingly not enforced. If you're going to list a dress code (which I'm not overly fond of) then you should make sure it's followed. Ultimately, 9/10 and we will be returning any time we are looking for that high end steakhouse experience.

Waitress was amazing, steaks cooked perfectly. The Mortini was the best vodka martini I have ever had. Highly recommend. Casual dress which surprised me, but it is Portland.

I’ve visited this Morton’s a handful of times and never had a truly great steak. Ringside is a much better local choice. Also it is annoying to have servers consistently trying to sell you on additions, as every thing is ala carte and expensive. Anyone want $30 mashed potatoes? I liked our server and he was attentive, but stop selling the extras!

Our server John made the experience incredible. Food was great but not remarkable, will definitely go back and ask for John to be our guy.
