Celebrated our wedding anniversary and had a very nice Northshore special 3 course dinner. Morton’s is always a great place to dine.

How appropriate that it is award season. Golden Globes, SAG, and of course, the Oscar’s. The dining public, only one vote in this case, has nominated the following feature dining establishments: Morton’s Ruth Chris Wildfire Maetros Sophia Steak The Barn And the winner is: drumroll please… Morton’s of Northbrook. Accepting this reward is Patrick the stellar manager and leading man. Together with a supporting cast that consistently wins accolades for their service performance. Of course, additional awards go to the cast in the kitchen who prepare absolutely consistent and memorable dining experiences. Bravo! The audience always leaves the restaurant (theater) happy and satisfied.

Hard to beat perfection. Morton's comes close. From the moment you walk in the door your evening festivities begin. New guests and returning regulars always feel welcome and special. It begins with Management, few do it better than Patrick. Vic our server was excellent. Other servers stop by as well to ensure that you have everything you require. The produce, seafood and steaks are top notch. The purveyor's are excellent. Truffle fries with parmesan are out of this world. Our guests always leave very impressed. Promising to take their friends back.

My boyfriend and I celebrated Valentine’s Day together on Saturday evening. I ordered the small filet with a side of grilled asparagus and we shared a shrimp cocktail for our appetizer. My boyfriend ordered the grilled salmon with a side of creamed asparagus. We shared a piece of New York cheesecake laced with fresh walnuts for dessert. Out waitress very nice, attentive to our requests, and very accomodating. We always go to Morton’s to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries and sometimes go to ring in the New Year. The staff knows us and already and always offer to take our photo on these occasions.

We went for Valentine’s Day. Our server seemed new. He was nice but looked like he was still figuring things out. He forgot the bread and kept forgetting to refill our water. When the food came, they had mixed up which steak had truffle butter. My steak was supposed to be medium rare. The steak was medium and wasn’t up to the usual high quality. When we got our doggie bags, the one was missing the truffle butter and the other had the melted ice cream in it. Normally, we have a great experience at Morton’s but this wasn’t up to their usual standards.

Great service. Food was good mostly. However I ordered Filet Mignon 12oz that tasted like a poor quality steak; choice cut maybe definitely not prime.

My brother and I both love Morton's and we always choose this location for the consistently great, friendly staff, the spectacular food and a pleasant dining experience. All the steaks are fabulous, but the Cajun ribeye is PERFECTION! You must try it - perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly to your liking. It has a great reputation for a reason! The sides are all tasty and the smoked gouda potatoes au gratin are sinfully delicious. The portion is quite generous! Our last visit was a birthday dinner and they made it very special in *every* way. We will be back!
