Our Hostess Chassity was phenomenal and made our date night so special ❤️. She took pur picture and surprised us with it and a memento as well! Our server Brenden was also phenomenon ! Best experience we have had at a Morton's and Steakhouse restaurant ever! Thank you!

Overall, we were very happy. The restaurant was pretty empty, so the noise level was great. The food and service were great. I went a few years ago and had a very mediocre experience. This visit was a huge improvement. Given our recent visit, I'll definitely be putting Morton's back in the rotation (even ahead of a few others restaurants in the same tier).

First of all, it was too noisy; we were just two people and could barely hear each other. The ambience of the restaurants is lovely; the food was excellent. The service was very slow we had a simple appetizer, salad for one and soup for the other, a steak and a dessert and we were there 2 1/2 hours - too long. It was a very long wait after the salad and soup until our entrées came but the food was excellent; Our server was very nice but I’m not sure whether it was the server or the kitchen that caused such a delay in the food coming out although our server was very apologetic about the delay. I suspect it was the kitchen that was backed up

My wife and I went to Morton's to take advantage of what we viewed as a great deal offered via Houston Restaurant Weeks, at $55/person. We both had the 8 oz filet, a wonderful wedge salad, and two side orders (onion rings and a huge bowl of their gouda scalloped potatoes. Excellent service from a young man by the name of Chase. It was a great evening. There are many choices offered on the HRW menu, some much better than others. In this case, having a filet with a list price from the Morton's menu of $53, it was a no brainer to take advantage of this offer. And, if you happen to have a Costco close by, there very likely have Landry's gift cards available (2 $50 cards) for sale at $80.

Excellent food and wine, good but not great service ... mostly because the staff was overloaded on a Saturday night with a private event to boot. Way too noisy.

As I waited for my party to arrive, the bartenders Jam and Daniel were more than attentive and I appreciate that. We were seated at a back booth which was roomy and comfortable for my party of 3. Our waiter was nice, very busy. When we finally caught him again to ask for Restaurant Weeks menus, mine was brought to me with what I hopefully can assume was a large chunk of grilled onion on top of it from where it was previously sitting or whoever previously used it. We ordered quickly, food came out and was delicious. What was frustrating for myself and my party was the tightness of the restaurant. There was a large party seated at the round table in front of us and our table was pushed in as much as possible. As our lobster bisque came out, I can see the hair from the patron of the large party, as she’s trying to get seated, come centimeters away from one of the bisques. For the remainder of the visit, we had waiters and hostesses squeezing past that chair and our table: either hovering over our table, nearly knocking over our table lamp, or squeezing through, with their backsides brushing on top of our table and dragging our table cloth with them. This restaurant really needs to reconsider where their large parties are seated, as the area next to the back booths clearly isn’t working or enjoyable for some customers seated in those booths. After this, I am not in a rush to return.

Great experience all around. Easy to make reservations and very prompt. The wait staff was great, and the food was delicious.
