My recent visit to Morton’s Steakhouse in Coral Gables started off on a high note with the receptionist being welcoming and polite. Unfortunately, we experienced a 15-minute wait for our table, which wasn’t a huge issue, but the bar service left much to be desired. While we waited at the bar, the older bartender seemed a bit dismissive after we mentioned we were just there while waiting for our table. He took my drink order, but when I requested to order a drink for my friend, he seemed irritated for no reason. Once seated at our booth, things initially picked up. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. However, midway through our meal, he became hard to find. We waited around 20 minutes to ask if our steak could be cooked a little longer, but it turns out our server was on a break. We had to wait for him to return before our steak was taken back to the kitchen. Despite these service hiccups, the food quality was exceptional. The Wagyu steak was easily the highlight of the evening—an absolute treat with rich flavors and perfect tenderness. I highly recommend it. On the other hand, the New York strip wasn’t as impressive in comparison. Overall, Morton’s remains one of my favorite steakhouses, but there were some minor setbacks during this visit. A little more attention to service could make the experience flawless.

Old fashions were great Lobster bisque was great Ribeye burger was great We like to sit in the bar area it leans towards a boutique feel

Been going to Morton’s at Ponce for ever, this is the first time the service is bad and the steaks too. We had the 8oz and 12oz steaks, the texture was not of a prime cut. The cooking also was not correct. One steak was ordered Medium and came rare. Sent it back and it was cooked on the outside and still rare in the inside. The cleaning up of our plates after we finished eating took over 15 minutes, the waitress nowhere to be seen.

Amazing dinner! Our server Dino was amazing as always. Jose the manager was awesome too! He was able to accommodate my guests and make the evening so pleasant. Thanks to the whole team, you guys made my evening!

Service and food was exceptional. Problem was the restaurant has added so many tables it’s like an obstacle course. Because of this it was so noisy we couldn’t hear each other talk. We always enjoyed the quiet atmosphere eating inside the restaurant.

Like always Morton’s was outstanding food was great and the service is always beyond. Our waitress Liz is always awesome nicest most thoughtful person.
