At Morrissey's, couched within the reimagined Adelphi Hotel, wood fired pizzas and artful crudos spread across tables filled with good friends, good conversation, and great drinks. John Morrissey gave up the ghost while sitting at the old Adelphi Hotel bar. We dedicate this establishment to his spirited history, and we think he'd have a damn good night here with us.

we splurged for a nice dinner out up in Saratoga at Morrissys on Broadway. Slightly upscale atmosphere , nice sushi bar, with quieter dining area past the bar. We had some craft cocktails and split a lobster salad to start. Susan had seafood risotto while I had seared scollops. Nice selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Attentive and adequate wait staff, our server Emily was personable and knowledgeable. A place we plan to visit again.

We were seated In a room under a HVAC vent that blew cold air on us despite there being several tables not under vents. Our waitress moved us at our request. The drinks were not very generous, despite the cost. Food was fine and the salad shared was split in th kitchen before serving, which was nice. Over all, not the best dining experience, but adequate. Value was questionable.

Very good sushi prepped at a sushi bar by a sushi chef Really enjoyed the signature Adelphi roll. Fair amount of noise so people with hearing impaired might want to choose a quieter spot or avoid the busiest hours.

First time here we live locally. It was OK. Having a wedding we didn’t realize- would’ve preferred another venue if we had known just cause we were having a nice meal with a DJ blasting. The staff was lovely- all exceptional. We hope to try it again when it’s just a regular night.

Went for sushi, not disappointed. Room had a large group so it was very noisy and hard to have a conversation.

Our waiter was over extended and did not take our families food allergies seriously. We asked for clarification about several things and he didn’t bother to follow up. He gave us more excuses than he did services. Our entrees came out before we finished the appetizer, because the appetizer took so long to come out. We ordered a glass of wine with dinner and he forgot to bring it out. We ran out of time because the service was so slow that asked to have our desserts boxed up but never got them because we couldn’t wait around any longer. I would not recommend this place for a special holiday meal.
