Moro restaurant in London’s Exmouth Market may retain its reputation as one of the hippest restaurants in one of the hippest parts of the capital, but this Clerkenwell restaurant still focuses more on good food than its own image. Moro’s décor with its polished wooden floors, long zinc bar, open view to the kitchen and its charcoal grill and wood-burning oven, is functional and welcoming. Cuisine of the southern Mediterranean, from the Iberian Peninsula into Northern Africa, is the menu’s exclusive province.

Very tasty food, something diferent and worth trying. Spanish cooking at his best! We loved it. Staff was very helpfull and charming. They even sang a birthday song. Evening to remember

I had raved about Moro to the friend I took along and was therefore disappointed that her main course didn't meet expectations. She had lamb with lebneh and sadly it tasted nothing like lamb (blindfolded it would have been impossible to tell). The lobster rice, pork belly and desserts were all delicious, however (and the bread as always!). Service was sound - warm and unintrusive.

Always top restaurant in the area. Food is fenomenal and the atmosphere is great for all 'tastes'. Only a bit noisy at times.

Food was delicious and the staff were super flexible and efficient. It was quite noisy but that was the only downside

Food quality very good and lots of variety, but the price point is definitely too high: 40 pound for a sangria caraffe (quite of ice in it) is quite overpriced

Best meal we had during our entire time in England and we went to several really good restaurants. Wonderful moorish spices. Stephanie could not have been better. Excellent advice on choices and went above and beyond in recommending places to visit nearby. We were so happy we went there to eat.
