The service is actually amazing! Everyone’s very kind and accommodating. Next to the food, I had the shrimp and grits, the shrimp in the shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious. The grits could’ve been better but every other time I went and I’ve gotten grits, they were always really good, so it was probably just a today thing next, onto the interior. The inside is absolutely stunning. I could sit there all day. The cinnamon rolls live up to the hype. They’re so good. I would definitely recommend them. Overall, I heavily recommend this place.

I know the labor market is tough right now. It was 1:15pm on a Sunday. But 50 minutes after placing our order, our party of 5 received 2 of our 5 entrees. After another 15 minutes we receive the other orders. The food was good. The manager finally came by and offered to buy us a round of coffees and teas (which are likely free refills anyway) for our troubles. I’m not that upset at the wait times, rather the lack of communication by management. Nothing was said to us until after everything eventually arrived. Our server was sweet, but management obviously left her out to dry…not taking charge of the situation. Really disappointing first (and last) experience in an obviously nice looking restaurant with good food.

We really enjoyed our brunch experience at Morningbirds. The staff was very polite and attentive. The food tasted home made, and was very well seasoned and flavorful. The biscuits and gravy were phenomenal, and the chefs smashed potatoes are very tasty.

Super happy with our brunch there today. All of our dishes were so tasty! The ambience is beautiful and the wait staff is very attentive. Will definitely be going back again.

I had a great experience at Morning Bird. The service was amazing, and our waiter Josh was very attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed. The food was also really good. I’ll definitely be back!

2 strikes and you are out for us. Our first experience was just ok; the food was good that time, but they were out of their much hyped cinnamon rolls. Today was our second and last visit. We again made reservations and indicated we would be celebrating our wedding. We were seated upon arrival in a nice booth. I asked about the cinnamon rolls and again they were out. I pressed again as to why but got no clear answer other than they were not making them. There was no acknowledgment of our visit and wedding… not a word was mentioned. Later after ordering , the waiter had to go confirm if what we ordered was available. Then later a guest in our party ordered a soft drink and after waiting we were informed that they were out of soft drinks as the fountain was not working. The party then ordered tea and the waiter went to get the tea; only to return that they had no tea. Our orders arrived and a few of the orders had the potatoes; they were heavily and overly salty. Almost as if someone spilled the container. Again we ordered the peacock and added a speciality pancake. This item and most items are overpriced for what you get. The peacock has 2 small eggs, a small piece of ham, grits and you are up charged additional $5 for a speciality pancake. $36 for that small amount is not worth it, and on top of that to have the food mediocre in taste along with out of most common items is unacceptable. Not to even mention that we had a long standing reservation for a special occasion that was not even acknowledged by the staff. Another example of poor restaurant management.

Wanted to try a new place for Brunch. Bad move...made reservations for 12:15 arrived right on time. Lot was full so we thought it might be a wait but much to our surprise we were seated immediately. Our waiter came after a few minutes and took our order for drinks. Coffee and Cranberry Juice. Took I think at least 15 minutes...but that was ok, he was pleasant. He did also warn us that the kitchen was behind and it might take 30 minutes for our food. I will say that the waiter was the ONLY good experience we had. Well that 30 minutes turned into a little over an hour. We saw multiple people leave. I think we finally got 1/4th of our food (well my wife's food) after a little over an hour. And the biscuit was like a hockey puck, the grits looked...hmm interesting. The eggs...I can't describe. We decided to leave, again the very nice waiter offered to comp our drinks. We said no, we would pay since my wife did drink the coffee. I didn't drink my cranberry juice b/c I was more hungry than thirsty. So consider the 5 or 7 bucks I paid for that as the tip for the 15.00 bill for two drinks. We thanked the waiter who was very informative and kept us updated, Oh and the Kitchen Manager? He did come out an apologize. We heard another lady leave b/c she said she had been there 3 hours. This is my first negative review I have ever left...so it really had to have been bad. All I can say is thank goodness for the Flying Biscuit on Mansell which was 7 minutes away. Great Brunch and way less expensive! Hopefully that was just a "bad Saturday"
