Join us for a tutored tasting and guided walk through the glorious and very private estate at Morning Sun. Our deep dive into the terroir of this valley nestled in the Mornington Peninsula hills begins with an estate-grown sparkling wine on the terrace at Morning Sun and a meeting with your guide. We then take a gentle walk along the vine rows and have an in-depth personalised talk about the growth you see along the way. Taste the wines at your private table among the vines, then return to the winery.

Head winemaker Chris Strickland is your host at this lunch, exploring the wines that inspire him and show how he has brought his personal stamp to the Foxeys range. A two-time national Young Gun of Wine finalist in both winemaking and viticulture, Chris began at Foxeys in his uni days. A summer working in the kitchen with Tony, then working in the winery through the autumn of 2009, spurred him to switch his science and education studies to a degree in winemaking. After 15 years of experiencing the trials (and maybe the joys?) of working closely with Tony Lee, Chris has more than a few stories up his sleeve.
