See they raised the prices on everything. Price now is to high to recommend others to come eat.

We like the smaller restaurant. Lots of attention to details . They had a few specials, not on the menu. One was the lobster bisque it was delicious. I ordered the 8oz filet mignon medium, and Pittsburgh . It was rare, which was not a problem. They took it back and fixed it up, and it was delicious . We will be back .

Morning Star is usually so very good. Our waitress was top notch as usual but the menu, or unavailable items, was a problem. We usually get a more affordable bottle of Merlot, which was not available. It had apparently not been available for weeks. The next up bottle of wine was $90 and a bit out of our price range. We had the great hamburgers the last time we were there, but these were also unavailable. We had the shrimp and the salmon, both of which were great. On last complaint, the food was a long time coming out. The evening was still very good due to the waitress who was fun and apologetic about the issues. Had the menu been marked as to the unavailable items, it would have been better. Being told, "We don't have that.." twice was unfortunate. I recommended they block out or explain in advance of ordering what is available and not. We like the Morning Star and will be back soon.

This restaurant is a favorite! Every trip to Kiowa we make a reservation there through Open Table. The food is fabulous! But, the best part of the experience each trip is our waitress, Maggie. She is friendly and professional all wrapped up into one. From the drink orders on she remembers what we had last! Can’t wait until next trip!

Food was cooked to our request. It was busy but food xame out in a timely manner. We had an excellent server, MARIA! As always, she delivered a wonderful experience. Maggie & Sapphire are also excellent servers to ask for!
