Moro and Morito chef proprietors, Sam & Sam Clark, opened their third restaurant, located at 195 Hackney Road in 2016.

Morito Hackney Road's Head Chef, Sevan Tchivitdji, draws influences from Southern Spain, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Morito has a concise offering of wines from the Mediterranean - primarily mainland Spain and Portugal - with a couple of lesser-known wines from the Canary Islands. There is a selection of sparkling, white, red, pink, and orange wines, with many available by the glass. For those looking to venture past these, there is also a list of Sherry and Vermouth.

Very tasty food and drinks. Slightly pricey on the meat & fish dishes that I don't think match the portion size. Really lovely staff. Slightly warm sitting inside on a summer day but very nice ambiance.

Food was excellent as ever. Imaginative dishes, beautifully cooked. Pink fizz was good too

It was fine. The service was okay but the food took forever despite there not being many people eating. My partners food arrived very quickly and mine took another 15 mins by which time he had finished. We paid £60 for breakfast for two, no alcohol. It’s overpriced even for the area. The food itself was very average, might impress tourists but you can eat better for cheaper. Its definitely child friendly as there were a LOT of babies which isn’t really our vibe.

The food was excellent quality but the portion size was about half of that provided in other similar restaurants we have eaten in.

Delicious food, first carafe of white wine was not cold enough. Would defo come back/ visit exmouth market site. Doing a great job!

Senior front of house very pleasant and welcoming, however the main waiting on staff not so much, unfortunately, - maybe just harassed on a busy Saturday evening? Value for money becoming stretched at over £50/head for an "extended Tapas" meal in utilitarian circumstances, but no denying the quality of the skilfully prepared food ( which came in random order as usual - the lamb chops nearly 15 minutes after all the other plates!

Great service - Augusta took good care of us, striking just the right balance of attention and guidance with leaving us to enjoy ourselves. The place has a stylish simple open light industrial vibe, with plenty of space for each party of guests. Good cocktails set us up for an array of inventive tapas style dishes, all of which were delicious.

Supercool place with pleasant staff but all the fish except mackerel was unavailable/gone from menu on the day we were visiting so not great as we are pescatarian! Sumac margaritas were delicious
