We have been to Morimoto’s before and have had some great experiences there! Tonight’s experience was lacking excitement and energy! The place was empty, which we’ve never seen before and just felt dead! Our server was a little over zealous about his favorites but did provide adequate service! The food was good and we enjoyed the dishes we ordered! We hope this restaurant will still be open when we return to Honolulu!

The food was exceptional! Service was incredible! Nessi our server was super knowledgeable & kind! Kennedy also made some incredible suggestions. We were there celebrating our honeymoon & it was super romantic & delicious.

Beautiful setting - looking out over Kalakaua Ave., watching the waves and the sunset and all the people enjoying the beach. Truly a special spot to enjoy watching everyone enjoying paradise! Love the ribs! For two of us, we have two orders! Fried rice is amazing, as well as the garlic greenbeans. The deep fried whole branzino was delicious - my husband loves eating the cripsy skin and finding the remaining pieces of fish.

Service was attantive and fast, very nice ambience/location. Food was good there were some ok and some very good dishes. Sticky ribs and beef kalbi were very good.

Everything we ordered was delicious. I just didn’t particularly care for the kalbi. The taste was not bad just different & did not taste like traditional kalbi. On the other hand, the whole fried fish was spectacular & so delicious! I highly recommend it!!

The service was absolutely terrible, nothing was brought to our table together. Appetizers were brought as the main course, main course and sides brought when the appetizers should. Our meals were not brought as the same time. Food was terrible and the atmosphere was like sitting in a cafeteria of a hospital. The manager should have come and apologized to us but ignored us and did nothing to make up for the lack of service.

For this kind of meal, for these prices, it’s silly to bring out shared side dishes after everyone has finished their entrees.

The food was phenomenal, service impeccable, and ambiance beautiful! Perfectly located on Waikiki beach, and truly memorable dining experience. Love that we could eat at an upscale restaurant in beach attire. They were incredibly accommodating and kind about my allergies. Angry lobster was my favorite thing we ordered, it was delicious!! Thank you!!
