We waited at least 15 minutes before a waitress came to our table. We ended up having 3 different servers throughout the evening, with each of them being equally inattentive to our needs. After waiting over an hour for our food, my pizza order was wrong, and I had to wait another 40 minutes to get it corrected. We finally flagged down the manager who was helping in the kitchen because they were short staffed (it was the poor guy's birthday on top of it). This was one of, if not the worst, dining experience we ever encountered, and it will be a long time coming back to this Moretti's Elgin, IL location again, if we ever do.

Staffing was a little thin - it was Monday night after all. But the FOH was just fine - everyone came together - and our server Sam was where we needed her when we needed her. Everything was good!

We love this Moretti's location and dine here frequently. For this visit, we asked for patio seating and were accommodated. The food, drink, service and ambiance were excellent. We had a little one with us and he was happy sitting outside. One suggestion for improvement would be to have child-friendly cups with lids for little kiddos (most restaurants have this). It is annoying having to hold his cup so it wouldn't be spilled.

We always enjoy going to Morettis on Randall Rd in Elgin. The food is consistently good and it’s nice to have the opportunity to enjoy outdoor dining. Although the service can be slow on busy nights, this time it was great. We were a party of 5 who arrived on a Sunday evening. We were seated within 10 minutes and our server arrived promptly to take drink and appetizer orders. We ordered pull apart rolls covered in cheese. They were delicious! All of us chose one of the house specialties, Crispy Chicken Romano, our favorite dish. Everyone enjoyed the well seasoned, breaded chicken, sitting on a mound of mashed potatoes, accompanied by asparagus. The sauce covering the plate is delicious, making each bite memorable. Afterwards we had enough leftovers to bring home for another meal. Although there were several tempting choices for dessert, we left happy, already planning to return.

appetizer selections are better than the usual fried options. Calamari and roasted brussel sprouts were very good! Plenty of dinner options too, from pizza and pasta to seafood items as well. My grilled swordfish with mango salsa would bring me back!

Incredible in every way!!! Service was the standout……Nolan was a SUPERB table guide, more than a waiter!!!! Food is delicious! Menu is broad, varied and delicious. You’ll not no wrong dining here!!!!
