Moretti Caffe @ Home Société is an inviting eatery with a laid-back atmosphere and enticing Italian cuisine. It is an outpost of Montreal’s much-loved Pizzeria Moretti, bringing such signature dishes to Toronto as mortadella panini, grilled vegetable pizza and heirloom tomato caprese salad, along with sweet selections including tiramisu and Sicilian cannoli.

It is located in the heart of Home Société with a second entrance that opens onto Cartwright Street.

Non existent service delivered by servers who have no comprehension of dining of dining. The overcharging for simple items such as a cup of tea, the refusal to serve tap water at table is just rude abd indifferent to environmentally insensitive proliferation of indestructible petro- chemical polution, and is insensitive to contemporary values. At a breakfast, withholding salt and pepper is the habit of the house. Likewise water ,milk,sugar anbd hot water withheld from a$6/ cup of tea ,is outrageous. Si is the indifferent management .

I’ll start by saying we wanted to love this because we’ve had positive experiences downtown, but will not be returning to any location after this experience. Overall experience: - not courteous to pregnant women, refused to accommodate a different water option when she didn’t like the taste or temperature at 9 months pregnant - complained about the taste of the food and they said “people love our food more than the downtown location” instead of trying to correct the issue - you need to pay $6.50/bottled water, probably to make up for the fact that the restaurant is dead and they need to try to break even - The manager kept referencing the cameras which made us super uncomfortable - Management informed us that even if we complained through an email, nothing would be done about it because lots of people complained in the past and advised us not to bother Food-wise: Pros: -pizza was good, calarmari was okay, gnocchi were good Cons: - Mac and cheese was tasteless and waiter insisted it was good, the penne alla vodka was very spicy and tasted like a cream sauce vs vodka sauce There are much better Italian restaurants in the area that I would recommend instead.

The spaghetti frutti di mare was good. The sauce and seafood in the dish was tasty however the pasta was undercooked and too al dente for my liking. Also, bottles of wine are way overpriced at $75 a bottle and glasses of wine at $24 a glass too are overexagerated. The chef was kind enough to offer dessert free of charge to compensate for the pasta being too al dente. Nice gesture - thank you!

This was our second visit. Great place to relax with family and friends. They make a great cappuccino. Food wasn’t as memorable as our first visit but maybe next time around it will be. Staff are nice but service is chill a little slow but was Father’s Day, regardless a love the atmosphere. Feel like I’m in Italy.

Great birthday lunch with friends. Lots of parking and it’s a beautiful restaurant, with delicious food . I would definitely recommend it.

Disappointing dinner all around. We were seated at a tiny table despite being one of the few people in the restaurant. The service was poor and the food this time was tasteless. You Couldn’t even get a glass of water without buying a bottle. We were in and out in less than an hour, and we had a bottle of wine to drink. We felt we’ were being pushed out, and on a Saturday night ! We won’t be returning. A very expensive and poor experience over all.

We ordered pancakes with fixings on side. It didn't come that way so the pancake at bottom was left cause it was dry No regular tap water No second cup of coffee

We loved the food, the service and the ambience. Our meal was well timed between courses and our waitress was friendly, and very helpful. We will definitely go back as this was a great experience.

The food and atmosphere were great. Unfortunately we when we requested tap water to accompany our coffees and juice, we were told that only bottled water is available for purchase. It was a turn off and a little ridiculous.
