My wife and I tried Mora for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by to whole experience. The staff were super friendly and made great recommendations for our food and wine. We will definitely go back to this quaint restaurant that has real Italian ambience.

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Mora Italiano, an extraordinary Italian restaurant that left me utterly impressed from start to finish. If you're a fan of authentic Italian cuisine, this place is an absolute must-visit. Let's start with the pizza, which was nothing short of perfection. The crust was thin and crispy. It was, without a doubt, the best pizza I have ever had. The balance of flavors and textures was impeccable, making every bite a delightful experience. The Caesar salad and beet burrata cheese salad were both outstanding. The Caesar salad was classic and expertly prepared, with crisp romaine lettuce, tangy dressing, and perfectly seasoned croutons. The beet burrata cheese was a revelation—fresh, creamy burrata paired beautifully with the earthy sweetness of the beets. The sea bass was spectacular. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, flaky, and bursting with flavor. The presentation was elegant, and the accompanying sides complemented the dish wonderfully. The pasta was another highlight of the evening. Fresh, homemade, and cooked al dente, it was absolutely delicious. The sauce was rich and flavorful, making it clear that it was made from scratch with high-quality ingredients. The ambiance of Mora is warm and inviting, with attentive and friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure a memorable dining experience. The attention to detail in both the food and the service is truly commendable. In summary, Mora offers an exceptional dining experience with outstanding food that showcases the best of Italian cuisine. If you're looking for an unforgettable meal, Mora is the place to go. Mora is like a neighborhood family owned Italian spot. The father and son duo that run the place make you feel like home. The margarita pizza is perfect, the bolognese is deep and rich. Top it off with a tiramisu and you will go home happy.

This is an outstanding establishment. The food is simplistic but next level in terms of taste and presentation. The service is fun, friendly and staff super knowledgeable about the food and wine offerings. The wine list is perfect for the food on offer, and that food is easily among the best Italian fare I have had anywhere. The ambience is great too, low key and atmospheric jazz that fits the intimate setting perfectly. We’re very lucky to have this place in Encino, I would put it up against any other Italian eatery in LA, will be back next week.

The food is delicious! I am so glad that we found this place and have enjoyed our date night. Lucas is friendly and attentive, his wine recommendations have been spot on. We will be back over and over again.

Very small. Even though I reserved an inside table, the patio was fully enclosed so we thought it would be ok, The patio is also very small. A large party was booked for the patio, who were very rude, several people standing between their table and ours. At one point one of the ladies had her butt touching our table as we were trying to finish our meal! Spent the last 15 minutes having to lean away from them. On top of that the overhead patio heaters were on and it was too hot. My companions' food was just ok. My meal was horrendous. I ordered the cacio pepe. The pasta was lukewarm, the cheese and pasta water did not emulsify, the cheese clumped on the bottom in a puddle of pasta water. If I was rating by dish alone, the food would be -1 star. The wines we selected were very good. We wanted to try the olive oil cake but the service was so slow and we wanted to get away from the heat and the horrible party we asked for the check and left. It looked like there were only three people working the floor, a waitress, a bus person, and the sommelier (at least that is who the waitress said he was.) The rudeness of the party next to us is not the fault of the restaurant but it did ruin our experience along with the cacio pepe. Will not return.
