MOPHO strives to be a true neighborhood restaurant, combining the flavors of Southeast Louisiana and Southeast Asia. From rich pho broths, to hand ground curries, and our signature bubble tea cocktails; everything at MOPHO is made from scratch with care and attention to freshness and flavor. We also serve whole roasted hog brushed with lemongrass, garlic, and chiles every Saturday for lunch.
In 2014, MOPHO was nominated as one of Bon Appetit's Top 50 Best New Restaurants. It was also named Restaurant of the Year by New Orleans Magazine and People's Choice Best New Restaurant by Gambit Magazine in 2014.

I have been to mofo twice in the last two weeks and was absolutely delighted. The food was excellent and I had the same server both times who was knowledgeable, competent and efficient. I did not feel it all rushed and he very much knew the menu and the wines. One of my new favorite places.!

What a fantastic meal! Took my husband and son for Fathers Day. I had the corn and bacon laksa. Delish! Their fish and chips and the pork chopped cheese were even better! I believe Michael was our waiter. He was great!

We eat at Mopho often and the food is consistently good. You can’t expect Vietnamese pho, but instead a rather delicious twist on this classic dish. We love the pho, the fried green beans, the coconut milk queso, and just about everything else on the menu. It’s not cheap, but is worth the price!

Excellent food for a reasonable price in Mid City. Highly recommend Krispy Chicken Bites, Brisket Buns, Kimchi Fried Rice. Service prompt and attentive and friendly. Nice place.

The hostess was wonderful. I was greeted and my reservation was found easily. My waitress must have been having an off night. Bar drinks and regular drinks took 20 minutes to come out. Appetizers arrived warm, not hot when drinks arrived. Waited on refills until our entrees arrived. When entrees arrived, one of the orders was incorrect. Not the best experience, but will give another try. May have been a rough night.
