Moon Rabbit is a highly-regarded Vietnamese restaurant situated in the heart of Washington D.C., drawing inspiration from the virtuous rabbit depicted in the Buddhist Jataka tale. A memorable meal. It was our anniversary. We couldn’t have been happier. The desserts were next level.

We had the prefix dinner and it was amazing! The food was outstanding, the service was friendly and efficient, and my Zero proof cocktails were delightful. We’ll totally be coming back!

A truly wonderful dining experience. The best top to bottom meal I have had in a while. Every team member we interacted with was lovely, knowledgeable, and worked to make our experience great. My only regret is not having more time and stomach space to be able to eat through the entire menu. I can't wait to come back! (Not pictured: cocktails which were perfection)

I found the what staff great. Was disappointed that there were no table clothes and that there was music playing over speaker. I had the chefs set menu. The appetizer was real good and the Soup was to die for. two small pieces of beef were wonderful. Disappointed in the entree of cumin lamb and was sorry that the dessert was cold. I will go again and order from the menu. They have some really great food and its worth getting to know what you like best.

Another fantastic meal at Moon Rabbit. A cool vibe, well executed dishes and great service. If you’re looking for some innovative menu items this is the place to go! We shared plates so got to taste a lot of different things and they were all a delight in taste and appearance.

Five stars are not enough, on any count. Between delights for the senses, surprising flavors, and perfectly-crafted cocktails, every mouthful was pure joy. All that, served up with passion & sincere grace… what more could I have asked for in one meal? When I travel, I always want to try the very best that each place has to offer. In DC’s case, I may just have found it.

What a delicious trip through Vietnam. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. This is a no miss opportunity for anyone who loves great food in an inviting atmosphere. My only criticism was our reception was less than friendly at the front by one of the staff. After this initial rough start, the remainder of the evening was exceptional.
