Distinctively situated overlooking the Housatonic River and our award-winning golf course, Monty’s River Grille brings fine dining to new heights. The food was excellent especially the jerk chicken skewers and the garlic strip steak with potatoes and roasted tomatoes.

Monty's is one of our favorites.....especially in the nice weather with their lovely deck! Unfortunately, the service is not their strong point! We waited an HOUR with no food! We finally asked for some bread and got it! Drinks did come promptly. But we ordered "casual food"......not something complex! So it's hard to understand??

What a gorgeous view from the deck on a beautiful night at Great River Golf Course and Monty’s River Grille. Our wait staff was extremely attentive. Our food was delicious and our drinks were perfect! A gem in our neighborhood!! I would highly recommend!!

The food was so good! I had a Cesar salad with steak and it was honestly one of the best I have had. Can't wait to go back and have that throughout the summer.
