The remodeled space was very well done. I particularly liked the light fixtures and whatever they did to muffle the sound. It’s nice to be able to have a conversation without yelling. We all enjoyed our dinners but I do miss the sole almondine

Excellent food and service today during a very busy lunch time. First time returning since the reopening. The interior is lovely, noise level is much improved and the food just as delicious. Very nice staff and servers. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely long lunch of cauliflower, octopus, and warm spinach salad. We were never rushed, and it was lovely. Truly enjoyed the remodel updates.

Group of six that they accommodated nicely and with great service. Appetizers and especially the bread plate were great. I loved my swordfish, and everyone tried something new. I tried to forego the dessert but we had the warm chocolate Cake with vanilla ice cream. OMG. Too much! Second time since they reopened and I'm stuffed. Thanks for a great meal. Never had a bad one yet! CyberBill

The newly remodeled space is very nice. I love that they kept a lot of the menu the same. Service is friendly and very professional. Will definitely go back!

Monti’s is my go to place when I’m up in Santa Rosa . The staff are super friendly and excellent at service . The food is always incredible. I love the new Mediterranean look they have going on . It’s bright and inviting. We had the oysters with the mignonette and the cocktail sauce both sauces are delicious but we like our oysters with the natural sea water they come in . My daughter in law ordered a fantastic kale salad with a bright dressing. The ahi tuna appetizer is my favorite, love the olives they put on it . The Mediterranean pizza was perfectly cooked with a light and airy crust and the bite of the feta was delightful. My grand daughter ordered the Monti cristo sandwich which we were delighted to see was still on the new menu . And I also ordered the lamb ribblets which melted off the bone . I love monti’s out of all the stark restaurant’s . Don’t get me wrong I love them all for different reasons but my heart is at monti’s .

Back on track! So great to have one of my favorite restaurants back open! After months of construction (and remodeling), they are back in business. Today was my first taste. The important parts stayed the same - delicious food, attentive wait staff, and comfortable surroundings. Love the new "booth" options! Thanks.

It was truly a nice dinner and we shared all the dishes which was the way to go. We had two starters, The Spread and Bread~~~this was wonderful. Great flavor from each of the three 'spreads' and the warm bread was perfect medium. Next Ahi Tuna Crudo.....outstanding served with a thin crisp cracker....my only suggestion would be to offer up two of the crackers (we asked for an xtra). I would absolutely get both of these again. We followed this with the Black Cod entree. This was nice but needed more citrus for my pallet. Along with the Cod we had two sides; Butter Beans& Cheese~~~very nicely done and very enjoyable The second side; Grilled Royal Trumpet Mushrooms. These were lacking in flavor but even more disappointing was they were tough/rubbery. I have never eaten a tough mushroom unless I microwaved it....not a good way to heat up mushrooms and I only did this once at home. You needed to cut them with a knife or overwork the fork to get through them. Not sure if there was a problem in using spices to get a good flavor profile but totally at a loss over the tough texture. The noise level was quiet. They took xtra care in using sound catching material in the 'redo' of the restaurant....major KUDOS for going the xtra mile it really makes a huge difference. The service was, OK, not good or great but average. This is regarding the attention to the table. The worst part was trying to get attention to get a refill of my water glass.....I was only successfully one time. I actually asked my dinner guest to share hers. The busser actually poured the table next to us and as he walked by I pointed at my empty glass but he never returned. Now, I do not mind pouring our own wine but there was never an effort by our table server to take the time to pour in fact we barely saw her other than a quick walk by asking how everything was..... With all of this said....the question to ask, 'would I ever go back' and the answer is YES! Absolutely!
