Back on track! So great to have one of my favorite restaurants back open! After months of construction (and remodeling), they are back in business. Today was my first taste. The important parts stayed the same - delicious food, attentive wait staff, and comfortable surroundings. Love the new "booth" options! Thanks.

It was truly a nice dinner and we shared all the dishes which was the way to go. We had two starters, The Spread and Bread~~~this was wonderful. Great flavor from each of the three 'spreads' and the warm bread was perfect medium. Next Ahi Tuna Crudo.....outstanding served with a thin crisp cracker....my only suggestion would be to offer up two of the crackers (we asked for an xtra). I would absolutely get both of these again. We followed this with the Black Cod entree. This was nice but needed more citrus for my pallet. Along with the Cod we had two sides; Butter Beans& Cheese~~~very nicely done and very enjoyable The second side; Grilled Royal Trumpet Mushrooms. These were lacking in flavor but even more disappointing was they were tough/rubbery. I have never eaten a tough mushroom unless I microwaved it....not a good way to heat up mushrooms and I only did this once at home. You needed to cut them with a knife or overwork the fork to get through them. Not sure if there was a problem in using spices to get a good flavor profile but totally at a loss over the tough texture. The noise level was quiet. They took xtra care in using sound catching material in the 'redo' of the restaurant....major KUDOS for going the xtra mile it really makes a huge difference. The service was, OK, not good or great but average. This is regarding the attention to the table. The worst part was trying to get attention to get a refill of my water glass.....I was only successfully one time. I actually asked my dinner guest to share hers. The busser actually poured the table next to us and as he walked by I pointed at my empty glass but he never returned. Now, I do not mind pouring our own wine but there was never an effort by our table server to take the time to pour in fact we barely saw her other than a quick walk by asking how everything was..... With all of this said....the question to ask, 'would I ever go back' and the answer is YES! Absolutely!

We were forgotten with all the coming and going but we were attended to as soon as we caught the manager. The food was very good. We had the mortadella appetizer which was generous and very good. Our hamburgers were cooked perfect. We had to switch to figure out which was cooked longer, but we were both happy with our meal.

We used to LOVE Monti’s (has been going for years) and enjoyed our favorite items. Their menu didn’t change much but unfortunately they have changed our favorites. We used to get the sole almondine and hangar steak (which they still have) but it only included sauce and some mushrooms. It used to come with some fingerling potatoes. For dessert the butterscotch pudding was a favorite with the yummy crumbles on it. No longer on the menu either. Bummer as we were looking forward to Monti’s being open again. There was 5 of us and our booth with a chair was a little small for us all. Our waitress was pleasant and fairly attentive.

Montis is great! Can be a little pricey, but so it everything nowadays! I love their food, our service in particular today wasn’t the best from our server, but the bussers and hostesses were amazing. Love it!

Monti’s just opened a month ago a beautifully recently remodeled inside restaurant & outdoor dining. The old restaurant was very dingy & cramp, but now it has new seating booths, giving a luxurious dining experience. The menu has changed with delicious fish & meat dishes. The staff are wonderful, full bar excellent, and the evening outdoor dining much more comfortable with better lighting & heaters. I recommend you try it!

The remodel resulted in a freshening of the restaurant including sound deadening materials. Menu had some updates and the food is still very good.

The food was delicious, from the starters to the entrees. Food was perfectly balanced from savory to sweet. The flavor notes were pronounced but not overpowering. We will definitely will return.
