PINSA est un type de pain sans levain qui était autrefois préparé par les paysans en dehors des murs de l'empire romain. La Montesacro est la première « Pinseria » des Etats-Unis. Elle présente une version moderne de pinsa faite avec un mélange de riz, de soja et de farine de blé importée directement de Rome, garantis sans OGM. En plus d'être un délice, la pinsa est faible en gras, faible en calories et facile à digérer.

This was my first visit post pandemic. So few patrons for lunch than in 2019 but the food and service is just as good. I just hope this restaurant will survive. It deserves so much more support.

Service was great. Pinsas were delicious. We went early so noise was at a minimum and they spaced out the guests which was nice.

The location is in a small alley off 6th Street just half a block off of Market Street. The location is odd, but everything about the restaurant--from the wonderful food and wine list to the eclectic furnishings--is just terrific. The service is great also

A unique Italian bistro atmosphere, down a small street, 1 block off Market, Montesacro, was a delightful dining experience. The menu is mostly pizza, but done with style. The antiques all around the interior adds to the experience.

Our waitress was super sweet and very helpful! Walked us through the menu, how to cut our pinsas, and accommodated my mom’s wheelchair.

My boyfriend and I loved our dinner here! Went before a show at the Orpheum theater and had such a perfect dining experience. We didn't have much time but they brought out our food and drinks quickly and we enjoyed with plenty of time. Super cute ambiance and I will definitely be returning.

I sometimes question how much thought goes into all 5-star reviews, but in this case, I can assure that all 5 stars are truly warranted. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit to this charming restaurant. Special praise to our server, who was considerate in every way, enabling us to enjoy a delicious pizza and still have enough time to make the matinee performance at the Orpheum. I look forward to returning to try more of the appealing items on the menu. If the rest of the cuisine is only half as good as what we ordered, it would still be 5 star! p.s. I rarely post reviews. Circumstances have to be exceptionally good or inexcusably bad to motivate me.

Not geared towards kids in the least, but okay. Food was brought out when ready, but of our 8 people 2 patrons pizza's came out well after the rest at the table. In fact, we ordered a second kids pizza after the initial order and it still came out last. Also, the location is surrounded by the homeless population, it's very uncomfortable and we worried about our safety when walking the half block south of market. We would've say outside except for the safety issue. the resturant itself was very warm, some of our guests had to step outside to take a break from the heat. Overall the food was great, but $25 for a small pizza seemed grossly inflamtory even with the cost of doing business.
