A member of my party was charged $10 more for an entree than listed on the menu ($45 instead of $35) and when this was brought up, they had already unfortunately let their card be run and the servers response was along the lines of "sorry our menu wasn't updated but $45 is the price" this was not brought up at the time of ordering and is completely unprofessional. Upon leaving, we tried once more to talk to someone about this and the woman (I believe she was the hostess) was extremely rude and condescending. Our overall good experience was very quickly turned sour and we will not be returning. The majority of my party (including the member mentioned) speak spanish fluently and were conversing in spanish with the staff, so there were no "miscommunications" possible.

Como fuimos temprano la música estaba con suave fue entre las 7:30 -9:00 pm Pudimos charlar y disfrutar de los buenos platos . Esta vez probé el sushi montemar y fue delicioso

We had a wonderful time. I love the entertainment. The food was delicious and the drinks were wonderful. Will definitely be back.

We have been a number of times. We love getting a mix of appetizers and sharing for dinner. Try the Patacones with steak, the shrimp mofongo, guacamole with pork chicharoons. .Dont skip the churros. Cocktails are fantastic too.

Excelente el habiente. Deliciosos sus platos , sus tragos increible. Lo que si me parece muy alta la música a la hora de la cena . No deja que se pueda tener una charla a gusto mientras se cena . Lo demás todo excelente .

we have been here a number of times. The service is great. We love the cocktails. The appetizers are amazing. There are many times. We will just have a bunch of appetizers for dinner last night. I had the churrasco steak which was amazing.

I took my sister here to celebrate her birthday. The ambience was great but food however was just okay ish. The empanadas we ordered was very dry, and the chicken with mushroom sauce came out to be salty. They have buy one get one free sushi deals on Wednesday which is great value but taste wise, it was not that great. If I were to go back, I would really just go back for ambience and drinks but not the food.

Highly recommend this restaurant! My friend and I were in town for a concert and wanted something semi-casual but upscale in taste. MonteMar met all of our expectations. The food was truly outstanding. Flavor, presentation, portion size - all were excellent. Service was also excellent. I would return if I visit the area again.
