We had a great experience. The hostess went out of her way to seat my family together. The server was excellent and the food was really good. I thank them all for a great experience.

Hello, We recently visited Montana's to celebrate the birthday of our three young children on January 2nd (birthdays are Jan. 2, 3 and 13). We made a reservation at the Halifax location and were pleased with the table held for us, which was a good start to the evening. Unfortunately, our experience went downhill quite fast. While friendly, once our server (Rita) took our order, she did not follow-up with us again. We had no straws for my kids to drink their frozen drinks, and she did not follow-up with us once after our food was delivered by another server. We ran out of water and pop and my husband's meal was never placed with the kitchen or delivered to us (he ordered the new Cheesesteak). Two of our orders were wrong and noone came by to follow-up. They did not have a simple side available (baked potato) - this is minor, but the rest isn't. This was very sad and disappointing as a very special birthday celebration resulted in incredibly poor service and zero accountability for the error. We received no apology, no compensation, no adjustment to the bill - nothing!! We ended up paying $100 for an unacceptable experience.

I like well done but mine was crispy so they redid it. The second time was good but everyone else was finished before my meal was served

The food was cold and had an awful taste. We saw the people beside us had a horrible time and our poor server had to deal with that. She didn't get a chance to check on us and when she did we told her the food was poor. She looked like she was gonna cry when she asked if we wanted to speak to the manager. It was almost closing time and I couldn't cause a scene on new years eve but honestly it was disgusting. We also didn't get any help. I don't blame her because she was swamped with a table full of complaints but nobody else came to help us and there were tons of people cleaning up and not having tables. It was just a horrible night

The food we ordered was overcooked in as much as the coating on my chicken was brown and very crispy. Thankfully the chicken inside was not dry. My daughter had steak which was burnt on outside but undercooked inside. I get that it was super busy but the food should still be cooked right. I have always had good food here so it was a little disappointing.
