Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays).

Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! Each item on the menu demonstrates our commitment to craft and showcases high quality, socially conscious ingredients, creative preparations, and perfect execution.

We sat by the ocean it was a crazy atmosphere. Splash, splash right near us! Food and beverages were delicious. Fresh caught blue marlin, need I say more! Live music, we made a reservation but didn't really need to.

The service was great .. my fish was dry and overcooked in the fish and chips. They should of used a different fish or cooked sooner All else was ok

Ocean front restaurant with excellent food and service. We had grilled fish tacos and seared Ahi. Fresh and delicious. Definately worth a visit.

The view was lovely and the service was great. The food was just okay… It was so extremely loud in the restaurant that it was impossible to have a conversation.

We had a great evening and received excellent service from our waitress, Jessica. We appreciated the live music and overall atmosphere of the restaurant - and one of the best views in Waikiki.

After having a discussion on seating arrangements that weren’t as hoped, the team went out of their way to ensure we were seated where we wanted to. The service was impeccable with the waitress being very thorough an attentive. The food was perfectly ok, but not amazing. The ambience was perfect for our 40th anniversary, sat by the sea in the moonlight. All in all an excellent experience
