Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays).

Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! Each item on the menu demonstrates our commitment to craft and showcases high quality, socially conscious ingredients, creative preparations, and perfect execution.

Service was very slow. Ordered the wings- they were good and the fish and chips. The fish and chips arrived lukewarm. Server didn’t come by. 10 minutes later a reason employee to have dish remade. He said he would let her waitress know. About 5 to 8 more minutes later the person said our waitress would be by soon. Another 8 minutes later our server came by and asked us how everything was. This was about 20 mins after dropping off the food. The service is not acceptable and it’s a shame as we just checked into the hotel for 3 weeks but won’t go back to this restaurant in our hotel.

We went to this restaurant on the last day of my first trip to Hawaii. It was a wonderful memory with a seat with a beautiful view. All the food is delicious, The man who served me was so good!!

Had a fantastic meal on the outside corner table with a view of the sunset from one angle and Diamond Head on the other. The service was outstanding from Chelsea and the rest of the team. Nothing we ordered was below the excellent level but the fish (the fresh catch was Mahi Mahi) and lobster pasta was a level above that. Would definitely recommend to anyone. We had 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 kids with us and everyone agreed it was fantastic.

Extremely good food, you could really taste the quality and flavor in every bite. Didn't need to add anything, we all left feeling very satisfied

You can’t go wrong here with anything on the menu! Great views of Diamond Head and sunsets. Plan ahead and get a reservation. It’s always packed.

Great fast service. Good foods, the Mai Tai and Cream Pies are a must. Expect to wait a little longer for ocean view seating. Also the ambience and live music is nice.

We were not impressed with the food. Ahi poke tacos - the ahi texture was off, it was not firm and a little slippery. Not like fresh sushi grade. Missing a little umami and sweetness, it was bland. The cast iron shrimp was very spicy and why sitting in a bath of chili oil? Tasty cornbread. The broccoli was far too hot and no trace of balsamic. Pizza was ok not great. Pork was good, not enough pineapple and the cheeses too much something maybe parmesan, not enough mozzarella. Drinks were good, service was great, view spectacular.

You gotta go here for the view. It's right on the ocean with a 10 star ambiance going on. The service is friendly and efficient. No complaints there. The lamb pizza is excellent. The flavors of lamb, mint and cheese perfectly complement the well prepared pizza crust. That said, I'm rounding up here due to the above. The fish tacos were just so-so. The tortillas were tasteless and chewy, as was the fish. I was really hoping for better.
