Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays).

Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! We have dined at Monkey Pod in Ko Olina which was very good, however Monkey Pod in Waikiki was very disappointing. Service was horrible and food was underwhelming. Our server was non attentive and made us feel extremely rushed. We literally were in and out within an hour. Not worth the price’s especially when it felt like a fast food experience.

Food was excellent. It was a bit expensive but worth the money. I would go again. Mai Tais were very good.

Amazing! Gnocchi!!!! I don’t even like gnocchi 😜 best burgers ever! Cornbread was top notch Service was perfect 8 days in Hawaii and this was our favorite

Our party of 4 enjoyed our meal at Monkeypod. Shrimp skillet, pork & pineapple pizza, burgers, all good, including cocktails. I was a bit disappointed that they stop serving the breakfast menu at 11am, on a Sunday, so be aware if you are looking for a brunch menu. Service was all 5’s.

We had such a great birthday dinner. The ambience was warm, noise level was adequate to still enjoy table talk, and the music entertainment we loved. Favorite dishes: deviled eggs, pot stickers, and the entree ahi tuna steak.

Made a reservation requesting a table nearest to ocean view. We were seated in an awkward table further away than necessary, as a table equivalent to the one being offered was closer with bench seating facing the water. A preference indicated in our reservation. Initially we thought they were reserving it for a party of 4. They were not, soon seating another couple with in 20 minutes of our seating. I’m not sure of the order of events in their system, they could have very well reserved that preference before we did. IDK. Either way the guest experience could be improved with that clarification by the host: “Hey we saw your preference, unfortunately you aren’t the first for this seating time…” “We got you close…enjoy your dinner.” Aka preemptive service recover. Food flavor was mid. We prefer Tommy B’s for roof seating and better tasting food and drinks. I don’t see a reason to come back. 2 people, 2 cocktails each, 3 apps, and a shared main with 20% tip - $226.83. The value isn’t there if the service isn’t top notch.

Good overall food quality. Yummy Pot stickers. Great salads ... Broccoli and kale. A bit small but enjoyable and not overly sauced. Rib eye was very good. Closing with strawberry cream pie... Creamy smooth and satisfying. A noisy venue for families and louder background music. Not terrible... Just a more vibrant environment. A quality choice for the Waikiki area.

Table by the ocean right at sunset. Friendly service and tasty food. Portions not big but food was good.

Surprisingly good, the atmosphere was lively. Any age will enjoy the experience. I will definitely come back again.
