Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays).

Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! Great good, location and service! They have the best MaiTais (they and their sister restaurants). I have to admit that I prefer the lighter happy hour version and always extra foam! My husband likes the regular! A place not to be missed. Love their potstickers, the fresh fish special and of course raw ahi!

We were a little disappointed with monkey pod this evening. We had previously eaten at the Wailea Location and our memory serves us that it was a much superior experience. We ordered a pizza and wings, our pizza came out barely warm while the wings did not show up until after we were completely done our pizza. Our server had to hunt them down. He did comp the wings which was super kind, but was still disappointing to have our dishes arrive roughly 20 minutes apart. The wings came out sadly also very disappointing, our neighbours wings were crispy with color, ours were very pale with no crisp. Our drinks were just ok, but my Mai tai tasted nothing like the one I had in Wailea as well as the white walker. This was sadly just not a good experience for us, it is sad as we had such fond memories of such a lovely monkeypod experience on Maui. We do have to say, our server was absolutely fantastic! And the live music was absolutely lovely.

We went there for lunch to see the band; however, they were not seating anyone near the band. It wasn’t crowded, but they just did not want to take care of tables near the band. We were seated 15 feet away, but could not really see the band from our table. Food was OK, but the service was poor, and it was fairly expensive for lunch.

My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary dinner on the last night of our trip and it was phenomenal! I believe our servers name was Evan, he was super chill/kind and attentive. We were sat next to the water and they took such great care of us and added a complementary glass of champagne with strawberry hearts as a garnish (obsessed). The food was fresh and amazing (you also need to try the monkeypod mai tai, I would fly back just for another one) we didn't wait too long despite the restaurant being pretty busy at the time we were sat. Unfortunately we demolished everything too quickly to get pictures but had the poke tacos, saimin and fish and chips. I'm super picky with fish but would have eaten all of my boyfriend's fish and chips if left unattended. We finished with the banana and coconut cream pies and they were full of flavor and decadence without being overwhelmingly sweet. So happy we were able to snag a reservation on our last night in town. We will definitely be back. 💕

The food was really great, and the service was equal to that. Big place, a little bit crowded, but good ambience and experience all around. Fun place.

予約の際に海側の席をリクエストしていましたが、案内されたのは一番奥まった席でした。たしかに当日の状況によってはリクエストに応じられないとの注意書きはあったのですが、我々が滞在していた時間帯、海側の席はガラガラでしたので理解不能です。サービス精神のかけらもない店です。味も全く美味しくなく、30分で退出しました。
