Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays).

Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! Each item on the menu demonstrates our commitment to craft and showcases high quality, socially conscious ingredients, creative preparations, and perfect execution.

Monkeypod is always great food! Enjoyed the famous mai tais as well. The band was way too loud last night playing music with a repetitive beat. Absent that, a delightful evening with a spectacular view of the fireworks!

Amazing atmosphere. Beautiful view. Great energy. Service was friendly and efficient. Fish tacos, seared ahi burger, fish sandwich, and fish & chips were all very good. Nice night out in Waikiki.

A delightful place for a meal. The food was very good and the view is lovely! So glad that we had dinner here for our last night in Honolulu. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

It was amazing and highly recommend for a sunset dinner reservation. We even got to see a double rainbow over diamond head!!

Quality food and varsity view. The staff did a great job controlling the shades on the ocean side to balance the sun and view. Banana pie was amazing.
