Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays).

Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! Each item on the menu demonstrates our commitment to craft and showcases high quality, socially conscious ingredients, creative preparations, and perfect execution.

We had reservations and were called within one minute Of arriving to our table. We received drinks right away and put on our order. Our food came out extremely quickly especially considering we had ordered pizza! They gave us a free slice of their delicious strawberry pie as we were celebrating birthday. Great food and great service.

As usually Monkeypod didn’t disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, the view was amazing and the service was fantastic! Love the place!

Food was delicious, and loved the ambiance with the live music, dim lighting, and the restaurant being right next to the ocean. Me and my wife went on Valentine’s Day and we were able to get in right at our reservation time. She had the margarita pizza and I had the ribeye with jalapeño mashed potatoes and Swiss chard. The jalapeño mashed potatoes were incredible and so was the rib eye, which was cooked perfectly medium and tasted better than most nice steak houses I’ve been to. I would always recommend monkey pod to people looking for a good place to eat with a nice environment and setting.

The food was delicious. We had the kale salad, Kailua pork and pineapple pizza and the macadamia nut crusted fish. The fish and pizza were outstanding. They were very busy and the kitchen was fast with the salad and slow with the rest of the food. There was a great live singer which added to the ambiance.

Es ist gut zu reservieren, das Restaurant ist sehr gut besucht. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Bedienung (Maria) war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend! Obwohl das Restaurant voll war kam das Essen sehr schnell! Ich würde gerne wieder hingehen!

Decided to wait a few minutes for an oceanfront table - was worth the wait. Burger and fish and chips were good. Nice selection of draft beers. One on-going issue we’ve noted since we’ve been on Waikīkī - dirty glasses and silverware. At one place it was lipstick still on the coffee cup. Tonight was a dirty fork. Bad initial impression.
