Atlas Restaurant Group presents Monarque, a French brasserie located in Baltimore’s Harbor East neighborhood. Monarque is inspired by the French era of prosperity when culture boomed and extravagance flourished. The food menu is perfectly complemented by a beverage program with over 500 French wine labels and an extensive collection of cognac and armagnac.

Striking a balance between transporting guests to another time and place while being rooted in the present, Monarque hosts an exciting rotation of acts on stage every weekend including dancers, singers, musicians, contortionists, sword swallowers, poets and more.

Monarque welcomes guests of all ages Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday our entertainment is suited for guests 18 years of age and older, and only adults are permitted to dine.

Food was okay, nothing special. The burlesque show was less than expected. It was only two dancers for 30 mins, we thought it would be longer and scheduled a later dinner for it. It’s definitely an interesting concept but the execution fell flat.

Halloween Burlesque show. Great performances (!) and a magical atmosphere during and already before the show. Very cheeky / naughty, and a little kinky, but fun and open-minded. Very entertaining. Would've been nice if the stage was a bit more visible from further back: Quite a few heads in the way. Maybe raise the stage a bit more or go out into "the crowd" more. Breaks between the courses were quite long; to pass the time, I would've probably shown an act between each of the courses instead of all the acts in the end, but otherwise, very good. Very good food, maybe a little liberal on the salt (mashed potatoes) and sugar (pumpkin soup) but within measures. Unlimited refills on the bread and herbal butter - don't see that often in restaurants. Funny little Gin tasting experience. Cocktails were good: The taste profile of the French 75 and naked Martini were a little imbalanced maybe. I appreciated them going easy on the Angostura Bitters for the Old Fashioned; very good.

Very nice ambiance. The pianist/singer was quite good. Service was prompt and attentive.

A great vibe; the hosts have put together the pieces of a perfect throwback to turn of the century French jazz bistro. The jazz combo our night was great. We were put off in a corner table behind the stage for some reason, so service suffered. Food was very good, and we will be back…

Service and ambiance were very nice. The food was solidly mediocre. For the price, there are lots of better options in Baltimore (especially for French food - the food at Monarque did not come close to the consistently delicious Petit Louis). The cauliflower au gratin was a cheesy, sloppy, watery mess. The French onion soup was blah. And the short rib "bourguignon" was tasty but dry, with only a few pretty dots of demi-glace that fell short of adding enough flavor. The chocolate mousse dessert was delicious, but that was the only stand out here. I'd recommend finding a better place to eat. For the money you'll spend here, you can eat amazing well at a lot of other Baltimore spots.

The Mushroom tart was so salty I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. Entertainment was not good. I wanted to love this but it was awful, definitely not worth the $$. Smoked salmon appetizer was excellent. Apple dessert good, needed more apples and less ice cream. The waitress smiled a lot.

The waitress was phenomenal the food was amazing ! I tried new things I have never tried before ! Her and it was amazing the band did amazing !!!!!
