Atlas Restaurant Group presents Monarque, a French brasserie located in Baltimore’s Harbor East neighborhood. Monarque is inspired by the French era of prosperity when culture boomed and extravagance flourished. The food menu is perfectly complemented by a beverage program with over 500 French wine labels and an extensive collection of cognac and armagnac.

Striking a balance between transporting guests to another time and place while being rooted in the present, Monarque hosts an exciting rotation of acts on stage every weekend including dancers, singers, musicians, contortionists, sword swallowers, poets and more.

Monarque welcomes guests of all ages Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday our entertainment is suited for guests 18 years of age and older, and only adults are permitted to dine.

My lady and I dined here for the first time and now it’s on our favorites list. The address is a little awkward, but, once inside, the ambiance, style, and class, is superb. We picked a perfect dining time and the restaurant wasn’t hopping yet, but once it got going, it was fun. The wait staff and mgr or GM was so classy and anticipated our simplest whims. The hostess was polite and appropriate attire. Our waitress was the best!

Not exactly the French brasserie experience I was expecting. The escargot was smothered in bread crumbs which was unfortunate given the snails were actually very good by themselves. The Shirt rib Bourguignon quality was very good but didn’t need to be drowned in red wine sauce. Extensive wine list with excellent French wines - ranging from around $180 to over $4,000/bottle. Huge mark up on some of the more popular Bordeaux varietals. My biggest complaint is ordering a 2018 and having the Somm bring me a 2019 without acknowledging they had no more 2018 of this particular wine. I noticed it but they just shrugged it off. Overall, nothing spectacular for these prices points.

We just had the best friends birthday celebration. The food was so delicious and our server was excellent.

The best part about my experience was INDEED the cabaret show, specifically the headliner. She was AH-MAZING. Would 10/10 recommend for everyone to go to the Monarque just for HER. The food was okay, the drinks were a little better. The ambiance was buzzing, but nothing extraordinary. It's a cool spot to pregame to go to the next, which is what I did.

It was our first time at Monarque. Liked the attentive service, and suggestions regarding drinks and menu choices. They were nicely explained. Jazz music was good. Loved the tour of the facility. Will be back to celebrate occasions.

This was one of the best dining experiences my partner and I have had in a long time. The staff was fantastic, the food was exquisite and the ambiance was warm and inviting. It was my partners birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make her feel special. We will definitely be back!

It is one of the best restaurants in the BWI/DC area. Great ambiance, quality of food is fantastic. You won't regret it!
