I absolutely love Monarch but was disappointed with the menu changes last night. The new “Rosette” style lasagna was not good and the rigatoni was too spicy. These are staple dishes that I’ve enjoyed in the past and I hope Monarch will consider changing back to the original ingredients/presentation. I was thoroughly disappointed, especially after bringing my friends from out of town who were excited to dine at Monarch their first time. They left most of their food on the plate.

Monarch is definitely an experience! We love Italian food and came to celebrate a birthday. Bam was our server, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave some great recommendations. Bam presented a Birthday menu that was a great surprise. The food was absolutely amazing we had the crudo, which was delicious but it is definitely a smaller portion. We also shared some pasta and had the Branzino and Halibut with asparagus. The halibut was very flavorful with a delicious sauce, and the Branzino was equally delicious. Here are the two reasons I rated good and not Excellent. When I am coming to a restaurant with the magnatude and reputation of Monarch I expect flawless service. After our appetizers were cleared we were waiting for a vault tour that we were told would be before dinner. Our entrees did arrive before we were taken on the tour (which isn’t that big of a deal), but we sat for 4-5 minutes with hot food and no silverware to eat it with. I tried to get the attention of a few of the staff but was unable too. It is my expectation that when I spend 300 for a night out that it should go flawlessly and unfortunately it didn’t.

Awesome dining experience. Viktor, our server, was very attentive and pleasant. Food was delectable and delicious...and the view was just amazing... on a fine Dallas evening.

Super awesome experience, which I live for! So happy they were inviting for our first time. Food was so delicious and well presented. Worthy!! The view was spectacular! Service was professional and knowledgeable! I can’t wait to go back!!!!!

We enjoyed our first visit to Monarch immensely. The food was delicious. My husband's steak had such a great flavor and was cooked well. I had the short rib pasta and it was rich with flavor. The service was excellent and loved the views. We will be back.

Be careful where you get seated. The Maitre d’s don’t pay any attention and will just sit you anywhere. We had a two top in a corner abutting a wall. Not the way you want to spend an evening.

Great Restaurant if you are looking for somewhere with the Dallas city view recommend going right before the sun sets to see the sunset and also get to see the night view at night time. Food is amazing and have a wonderful wine list.
