Carrie was our server tonight. She was spectacular! Every detail was hit for us and our guests. Once again the Chophouse and their staff shined above all our expectations!

The staff was lovely and very accommodating unfortunately the food really didn’t hit the mark, especially with the steaks which was really unfortunate. At the price point the food should be ourstanding. The ceaser salad was outstanding though and the best bite I had followed by the Mac and cheese.

Overall, disappointing. We had a reservation at 7:15, were seated at 7:45. We were directed to the lounge for drinks yet no one came over. The hostesses didn't seem very bothered and kind of had a "oh well" attitude. Our waiter provided great service but the food was not on the level of a Shanahan's or Del Friscos, yet the prices were in the same ballpark. I guess when you are up in Blackhawk, you don't feel the need to really cater to the customer as there are limited choices.

We thought the seating was too tight in the main area and the cafeteria style seating was way too crowded. We couldn’t move our chairs because of the lack of space to the next table. The seating by the fireplace is better and felt more intimate. Additionally, we felt rushed as the waiters were trying to pick up our plates before we were even done. This happened to several of us. The food was very good but very expensive. We didn’t go to the restaurant for value but it is overpriced .
