Beautiful restaurant and decent service, however, we ordered from the restaurant week menu and a few regular menu apps and were extremely disappointed. The appetizers were mediocre. Nearly every piece of fish on the mini omakase tasted very fishy and not fresh at all.

We did the omikase focused on seasonal fish and it was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the sea bass and mackerel, which are not our normal choices, and the otoro. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, and the overall service was efficient but not rushed. We sat on the patio which was well appointed and a little quieter than the restaurant which was great for us. Definitely recommend for something more than ordinary.

Rarely leave negative reviews but our experience yesterday was horrible. Slowest and most inattentive customer service, mediocre food and super loud tables. Not coming back or recommending to anyone. Can’t compare to the Chelsea location.

The waiter lacked in friendliness and was rigid which left a damper on the experience. He was not very attuned to our table and seemed unhappy in his role.

Excellent bang for the buck. Sushi is very fresh, presented in small pieces without too much rice, and prepared with attention to detail: yellowtail with a sliver of skin, cooked salmon kissed by a flame torch, etc. The miso soup is tasty and delicate. Dessert is thoughtfully made and plated. The hot tea is aromatic and comforting. Served with attention and priced very reasonably. I will be back for sure!
