The food was excellent! This is my go to spot for delicious sushi. It is so fresh and flavorful. The staff and service were wonderful.

We would have preferred to sit downstairs but were escorted upstairs to a small cramped space that doesn’t have nearly the cache of the downstairs. It sits next to the bathrooms, and we were sandwiched next to a pole but it did have a great view for those facing the windows. Otherwise, you stared at an unadorned plain wall on an average banquette. We would have been willing to wait for a downstairs table to open up (as we were early for our reservation) but the supervised host did not seem responsive to our request. He was kind enough but mechanically focused on moving people in and out. Our table server was wonderful though and offered suggestions, expertly described the highlights of the various dishes, and was attentive. Food was of good quality as usual.

Amazing experience. Made a reservation the day before and had no trouble checking in. Food was great and service was excellent. Have had wonderful experiences at both Cap Hill and SLU now. 10/10!!

We had some great food, especially the sashimi and rolls. Also had the halibut cheeks which were good. My daughter had the udon soup, that was a flop. Soup was tasteless, shrimp tempura was soggy. I also liked the sakura blossom martini. Overall a good experience.

The restaurant first gave us a table for 4 and then quickly decided to separate our tables after we sat down and make it a two person spot which crammed in between two other tables. They provided free drinks for the inconvenience, but poor execution overall. The food was sub par for the reviews and the expectation. The Seattle roll was soggy and the farmed salmon fishy. It was terrible. The wasabi is just out of tube, not fresh. The service was also terrible. No recommendations on good or bad dishes or mention of what to avoid, such as the Seattle roll. I had a stomach ache for the next 12 hours. I do not recommend this restaurant.
